Man, some of you out there are really harsh. I thought pot made people mellow. Well, it does me. I've been at this life for 30 some years, so I wanted something with this third relationship. Then something in the relationship made me get started again; her two teenagers. I kept all this a secret because I know how she felt about pot. She was married to a pot head for 10 years and he was nothing but a bum. Since I'm retired and want to do nothing but sail my boat, or sit around doing nothing, she gets flashbacks of him and that life.
Another thing. The house is in her name. I share my pension with my ex, so I'm living on a smaller paycheck that requires me to watch my money. That's why I started growing, to cut down or eliminate my pot expenses. I can't afford a place of my own. One way or another, this is a life changing experience. I will chose my path based on what makes the remaining time I have as peaceful as can be.
I haven't thrown my hydro equipment away.

Tombstone, man dont let these people get to ya! Your wife as you know should be your bestfriend, soul mate, and lover. You should not hide anything that will cost her, her freedom. On the upside....My wife is the shit and I would never let something like smoking weed come between us! She dont smoke but know about everything i do. As for the shallow people saying they would rather have weed than there wife....sounds stupid and petty. Imagine your wife letting a fucking cig or a beer come between you, its bullshit and selfish. However, let her know you are not like her ex husband and thats probably what got her to marry you. Weed doesnt make you a lazy bum......its the person. and then later on in marriage all of a sudden decides you shouldnt be able to smoke

Glad I don't have this type of shit to deal with. 7 years, 0 problems. I didn't start smoking till 4 or 5 years ago, so I was straight when she met me, she was too, now we both enjoy the same.

MY best friend in the world is going through the very same thing. She talks about not wanting to marry him cause he smokes... but then just hangs around and talks about wedding n shit... Uggghhh.. I told her that she was crazy thinking that my friend was going to quit this shit... and if he did cause of her... that she would end up in a bad resentful relationship.... When you smoke weed everyday like most of us... its not just something you like to do... its something you want to do....
I dont know i hate to hear about shit like this because i feel that it should never be hidden. More over i cant see how she never knew?... I have friends that hide drinking from their wives cause they arnt allowed... well thats cause of dui's..lol... I just thinks its lame to not live your life doing what you want to do.
