What you are witnessing, not in this thread which is just anecdotal spin, but what you are seeing out in the country is the CENTER leaving Obama behind. PPl are waking up to reality. The campaign promises are long gone.
If you pass my stimulus, unemployment won't go over 8%...... it's 9.7%.
We need to tighten our belts in the private sector. This has been done by the way already. Businesses do it out of self preservation and is responsible for the current bounce upwards. Businesses can only cut so much however. It's production which is needed for further gains. All we see is govt. spending as if we are swimming in surplus'. Parties every week at the White House. Top govt. officials who cheat & don't pay their taxes.
People are waking up and they don't like what they see...... if Obama doesn't get into the middle of the spectrum pretty soon, the center won't show up in the next election cycle.
The polls are already indicating a BIG loss for the democrats coming up....... wakey wakey...... pssst...just like Cracker said too.
