hey I had the same problem...had air conditioner but kept blowing breaker...Its worth the hard work of running a breaker for your grow room, I did it and droped the temps from 90 degrees to 80, thATS just 3/4 turned up too and have the light 8 inch from tops of plants (1000w hps)...do you have air intake? I use my air conditioner for intake. having an intake and out realy makes a big diff

Thanks for joinin in...youve mentioned that the intake and out make a huge difference. i reviewed my journal and when i just had my veg room, the room have intake with the 4inch inline and 2 6" booster fans to cool the light and exhaust the room. So i took out the ac unit and ran an intake and exhaust through the room. Turns out that i was better off with the ac and have the ac unit vent out the room. looks like more work. dang 8" with 1000w thats awsome. ya i your right i need more power...im searching for another circuit to pigtail off of. the thing that suck is that im renting the place so modifications are limited.

This is how I resolved my temp. issues..
I bought a tube intake fan from my local hydroshop for 13 euros.. it was the smallest they had.
Then I bought ducting and placed the fan to suck in colder fresh air outside the window into my tent.
This brought my temp. from 37ºC (98.6ºF) to 28.8ºC (84ºF). And it only costed me like 15 euros and my plants are happier with the fresh air.
You could do this and place it near your air conditioner that's placed further away from your grow area to reduce the extra heat.

Thanks BlackRoses for your tip. It makes total sence what you are saying. the coolest ive ever had during the process was when i had an intake fan pumping in cooler ambient temperature. Now the ambient temperature just outside the growspace is much hotter since the air conditioning unit is exhausting its hot air out the growroom and into the ambient air. unfortunately i do not have any windows nearby. looks like ive chosen a very private location but the lack of a fresh air source from outside the building is a crucial part of my huge error. Im hoping to just salvage a harvest at this point. i dont know what im going to do with the 6 plants that are vegging right now. i am thinking of just taking a break after this harvest until the winter months come around. do you think i can harvest soon though? thanks again

Yeah they're looking just about ready,, but to know for sure you'd need a microscope to check the resins.
But flush them for a week more and then you should be ready to harvest.

Ok...so ive tried to figure this out and i cant seem to figure it out completely...ive included a better picture of the leaves...but im not sure if its heat stress, overwatering, P or K deficient, or because i have an air conditioner blowing to close to it. but this is totally taking out my yeild.

That's some weird kind of burn..
What are your soil measurements? What kind of feeding are you giving them and whats their PH and EC measurements?

so ive havrvested over the last few days and have been drying and smoking.

altogether starting with 6 plants ive ended up with 2 pretty good afghahnis. yielding a little more than a oz each. the 3rd afghani was chopped premature i just smokin her now. im estimating close to half a oz. the two headbands also chopped premature also and are drying now...altogether im hoping for 3 or more oz. only 50% of what i was shooting for.

I have definately learned a LOT during this whole experience. i lost a lot of sleep early on dealing with the wrong things letting more critical parts slippin out of focus.

key factors:

Heat- I learned from this experience that heat is a slowing factor and not really a killing factor. plants in 100+ can stay very green and healthy. they just grow slowly. i spent close too 450 dealing with heat issues.

Salt Buildup- this was my biggest hurting factor. the trays that i spent 10 bucks on would inhibit excess water drain out and leave the pot. even though the top of the soil is dry, the bottom was still soaked. not only was i drowning the lower roots, there was a lot of salt building up in the soil. roots were poisoned and drowned.

all in all 50% is better than nothing. My goal now is 1.5 oz per plant to make up for this round. now i have to make sure not to repeat my mistakes.

giving up the perpetual harvest and going with a single room grow. there is just too much power required for two rooms.

here are some pictures..cookies anyone?
