Here is my DWC setup... This is a Lowryder plant.. which strain im not sure becuase it was an assorted mix... They are 33 days old from seed now and already budding... supposed to only get 1.5 ft tall but its already over 2 ft.

the air pump jus puts air into the water.. its only too much if its bubleing out of the bucket... you can put 20 air pumps in if you want (as far as i know)

nope.. the air pump allows the plant to breathe thru drinking oxygenated water... keep your temp under 80 in ur grow room and if ur water feels warm then throw some frozen water bottles in ur water or ull get root rot

I'm going with white skunk. I'm waiting to get a camra so i can post some pics. I have a 10 gal tub with 3 plants. A 30-60 g air pump with 2 10 in air stones. I'm useing advanced nutes 3 part with cal-mag. I have a 400w mh/hps system comming in a week or so. Till then i have em under a 300w cfl. hope that will do till i get my other system.

Are you getting the 400HPS/MH light from htgsupply.com? Im lookin for a good light and seen one on there im interested in and its dirt cheap

no iwas thinking of geting one from their too but their is a store close to me that will give me a good deal on one. 220 for an electronic ballast hortilux bulb m/h conversion bulb and reflector.

so i have a small 20g rez with 4 plants in it i just had a couple questions. what is the recommended temp of the water needed for optimum growth? and does anyone cut the roots? because when i get too big of a root mass i cut off some of the bottom of the roots and it seems to work just fine any suggestions?

I dont think cutting the roots will hurt much.. it will give it a reason to grow new ones like if you cut off a leaf... the ideal temp is the bottom 70's if not mid 60's .. if it gets any higher then your asking for root rot

hey bro
i just switched my whole op over to DWC from clones to flower. i was using the micro sprayers with air stones in the water - all i did was double the stones (4 per container - 10 gal roughneck) and a 5 gal bucket for clones - with 2 stones. i'm here for the duration - carry on!!!:bigjoint:

is that the Sun Leaves 02 Easy High Output? i just bought the same pump if it is - not very happy with it tho - used the 4 outlet attachment that came with it and it wouldn't run 4 stones!!! had to take off 2, connect 2 outlets together with a "tee" and connect a third stone from the 2 ports. works better now but the directions say you can hook up 4 res's - don't see how that would work??? Anyways, all DWC now and loving it!!!

by the way - how many stones you running with your pump???
