Mother Attempt

I got some 12" females from a buddy of mine. He didnt have room for them anymore so i lucked out. Because he didt have room for them, they were some what neglected. Light yellow shading on the lower fan leaves and very dry soil. They were still in 16oz cups.

I repotted them, and put them in my mother room. It is built into the corner of a walk in closet. It is kept at 74-76F, and it is currently @ 32% humidity.

This is my first grow attempt. I plan on useing these PBK females as mothers. I was wondering now that they are in bigger pots with good (Ocean Forest) soil, what should the watering schedule be? Also what nutes should i be introducing to them. It seems that they are lacking a bit in nitrogen.

Another thing...Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the humidity up? Ive been reading it needs to come up to the 50% area. Will 30-35 hurt the plants?

1 more question. I was told to use just to use spring water. No nutes. I checked the ph of spring water and it is 7.5. That seemed a little high, so i lowered it and now watering with a ph of 6-6.5. Does this sound correct??

Also they are being given light by a dual vented 200watt MH. Any critisism, suggestions, and advice would be awesome....sorry for being another noob!!!:weed:

To increase the humidity I add small water containers like jars into the growing area.. it might look less attractive but It keeps my humidity at a constant 40% during flowering
And 65% During vegging.
And to answer your Q, 35% humidity won't hurt your plants and it's actually great for flowering, but if the humidity is higher during vegging, the odds for a bigger healthier plant increases.
The PH for natural water should be around 7.2, so you're completely fine with your water. Depending how big your plants are you should be giving them about 500ml of water daily..
Check my plants on my youtube video in my last post in my journal (look below in my sig). I'm currently giving my plants 600ml of water/feeding daily. So if your plants are smaller, you shouldn't be giving them anymore then what I'm giving them and probably less too.
Again the nutrients all depends on how big your plants are.. please add pics so I can further assist you ;)

Good luck bro,
Cheers..

They don't look too bad. Check your ph, and you can add some 20-20-20 fertilizer to kinda jolt them back every other watering for a week. Keep the lights a little further away than you normally would at that size until you get some growth and maybe some of those fan leaves will straighten up a bit too.

Err, sorry Ishould read your entire post, 200 watt mh should be pretty decent..and yes to your ph...6.5 - 7 sounds about right.

above your post it says that 500 to 600 ml everyday. is this good amount? they should be getting nutes every other day?

No 500ml is slightly too much.. I would give them 400ML each day and about 33% (1/3) of the recommended dosage of vegging every other watering.
So 1 day pure water and 1 day water+nutes on that cycle until your plants are bigger..
Then I would recommend training them a bit.. Cause they look a bit thin in my opinion.
Try supercropping those branches, then fimming them. It should also get topped and then triggered for flowering.
They aren't that bad looking, I was expecting much worst ;)
You have some nutrient deficiency and that's why you should start on the nutes.

I think in 3-4 weeks your plants will be more then ready to start flowering.
If you have any questions, just send me a pm or a comment on my thread..

Cheers,

Hey whats up man,
thanks for subscribing and sorry for the late pm, I haven't been infront of the pc in 2 days.
To answer your question, those harvested plants were Northern Lights... I yielded about 125 grams in total from 2 plants under 250W for 5 weeks, then under 400W for 4 more weeks...
It's a really great weed and I'm smoking it daily still.

How's the plants growing?
