k its been around 14 hours since lift off

photos commence today, will update when I see new shit every here and there, all comments are welcome except useless negative comments

Using this box for sprouting until they get to around 1 & a half foot then moving to grow room (not ready yet)

Big arse white sheet over box is because a little light is coming out of a gap so I just threw that on top to help poke some light back in the box

Only started with 2 to see how they work out, have more to use after these go well (hopefully)

I have more lights in my room but I haven't put them in, if you think it would be better for me to put them in just say :-)

(have 2 more big ones and one more small one)

Good start. I hope you have a fan to remove all the heat from that box. Do you have a way to measure the temperature in there? Also wondering exactly what WW you have. A few different breeders using that name nowadays.

Yummy, they will eat up those FL's...(by the way, Compact Fluorescent Lights are the type that are coiled usually at least one time). I looked at a few pictures and it seems you have them about 6" from the pots, that's fine for now but once the seedlings start growing after about 3" try to keep it at most, 3" from the canopy(s)

Im not sure this is my first grow, I bought the WW from goldenseed.co.uk

Im getting a fan coming, also my thermometre came through the post broke so I am waiting on another one

@ kaiserAxel

Cheers for that, I didn't realise how far away they were, I thought they were very close then I had a closer look and realised

Man, w/o a fan or thermometer I might move them out of that box if possible. Heat will stunt seedlings very easily. I've seen countless grows fail because heat caused the seedlings to grow so slowly that the grower just gave up. Once the heat gets to them it will take a while for them to recover even once you bring the temps down. You have more than enough light for those seedlings so the reflectivity of the box is not all that critical. Getting them out in the fresh air is more important IMO.

I am pretty certain it is about 28 degrees celsius

(28 degrees Celsius = 82.4 degrees Fahrenheit)

opened the lid + took off sheet

its around 3 meters away from my big open window so air should be getting to it now

Pictures from today:

(Day 2)

Only took pictures of my star baby who has sprouted already :D

(was pretty surprised when I woke up :weed:)

Moved lights loads closer so there is around:

much away from the seedling

Bad quality pictures, used my shitty phone this time, next time I will use my slightly better camera, also was kinda hard because seedling is in the pot like 1 inch deep so couldn't really get proper side view

Day 4 - Yesterday I found out the grow box is 25 degrees celsius/77 degrees Fahrenheit

right plant = doing good. looking better than yesterday

left plant = doing really good since the start, around 2 inches tall

at night temps drop by around 10 degrees celsius so I cover with a sheet which brings it to around 30 degrees celsius

more pictures attached: (From plant: "lefty")
