if u drop the temps down wont this slow the stretching
Well, ideally you want about 77 day temps (lights on) and 72 night temps (about a 5 degree difference). The bigger the difference between the two, the more stretch you're gonna get.if u drop the temps down wont this slow the stretching
Oops...forgot BUT...it isnt the be all-end-all especially at this time of the year when humidity isnt a problem.how long are u going to hold out on the info of that bud drier. i need it badly
Find a dark, cool closet. Hang the colas up. Put a 10 dollar oscillating fan blowing on them.thanks i really need one. dont really have the room for putting it on screens to dry.
I dunno Loud......sounds to me that you have everything covered as far as temps go. You could try Bushmaster which is supposed to stop vertical growth but I've heard mixed reviews. Can you relo the lights a little and try to LST? I know...its a pain in the ass....especially if your fixtures are ducted. If worst comes to worst you can always select a few to cull and use the area for the remainder if you LST.
Maybe cut back to 10/14 on your 12/12 cycle and force a quicker finish?
Any way to hang your fixtures vertically next to them instead of above them?
I read somewhere that it did stop vertical growth but only for the week that it was added to the nute mix. The guy said the following week they started stretching again. Who knows.....he may have had other problems.yea Bushmaster is looking more and more like a good choice....i just worry about potency and taste if it will affect it.
and i thinking its just my fault.
i let these Alpha Diesels (which i think are straight Sativas) get too big
i think i flowered them at 12-14"
NEVER EVER AGAIN will i flower these sativas that large.
and its not even stretching... they are just growing vertically. budsites everywhere
What would that give you....another 1"? Is it even worth it?im like a week ahead of you.
my reflector is all the way to the roof of my tent.
i tried to think of a way to reroute all ducting...but that wont even help...as i dont think the tent would be strong enough for all my modifications...
i guess i could find some hooks to make my clearance a little closer.... as i use those hooks that has a solid hole, then you have the side where you press the thing and it opens? you know like some of those keychain holders? i know i sound pretty confusing...lol so ill shut up til i can get you some pics and maybe you can help or it will show you better of what im dealing with
Glad the supercropping is working. I certainly know the feeling of wanting a grow to be over with so you can get a fresh start.sigh*
im just gonna suffer and deal with it.
im just waking up and they have seemed to learn to stay away from the bulb..... the supercropping seems to be working.
also, unc....what do you think about modifying the nute regime some?
i've been using some of the nutes for 2 week instead of changing out each nute every week.... what do you think about that?
