im setting up a new veg room, just wondering what would be the best light to raise my little ladys.veg room area is 2ft x 6ft x 3ft high, there will be 24 clones veg to about 25-30cm tall before going into the flower room
im using 4 x 5ft fluoresent tubes cool white at the moment, only keep them 1-2inch above the plants all the time but still think the litttle ones are a bit on the stretchy side
any suggestions should i change to hid? what kind?

Stick with the fluoro tubes. Get some daylight bulbs. I think for your size of room and what you're trying to accomplish, that's your best bet. They work very well for vegging up to about 12". Anything taller than that... you'll want to consider HID.

Good Luck.

There's not a whole lot of difference, cool white I believe is about 5000k, daylight is 6500k. The cool white will work but, since I switched to all daylight bulbs, my seedlings and clones have seemed to do even better.
