The power of molasses

I have a few pics here that show my plants about 10 days after my first application of molasses. They are very sticky, smell skunky, have dense buds, and my fingers come away very sticky. My photo skills or camera is not good enough to show you the crystals that are sprouting up all over the bud leaves. molasses works very well for me, is cheaper than the chems you find in stores and does not add harmful salts to the soil, hence no flushing needed. happy gardening

( IMHO ) The hype around molassed is bs.. I used it on one grow then threw it away.It can make ur bud taste like crap and is a pita to mix.. It draws ants and other insects and it just basically sucks ass.. it IS NOT the miracle feed for weed that some ppl seem to think.

I had too many pests after using molasses I put it back in the cupboard. But thats me

it worked great for my indoor stuff, and i flushed for 2 weeks with the paradise seeds b52 and they tasted wonderful, no bad flavors

i had good luck with my outside grow with molasses teebeekohuna looks like your in florida i recognize the vegitation around your plants lol

Molasses works as a carbo and should not affect the taste of your plants, just think about a weight lifter and what they eat to gain mass, LOTS of CARBO's, Use 2 tablespoons per gallon and you'll be gravy. Personally I love it, cheaper than carb load and works just as well. Basically its sugar for your plants which in turn turns to carbo's. If you think that it will effect the taste of your plant then flush the last 10 days of flowering with plain water( but Iv'e been using molasses for years and never effected the taste and I garden some of the tastiest strains and never had any complaints)

only way to really prove it is the molasses working and not just the strain progressing naturally, would be a side by side of clones from the same plant. 1 fed molasses and 1 not. I dont use it and get the same results ie sticky, skunky buds, dense...

1) it works for me
2)Finding ants outdoors in soil should not be a problem, as the holes they make will aerate the roots (a good thing, helps prevent root rot)
3) time and equipment restraints prevent me from cloning, otherwise the experiment sounds good. the plants i have now smell better than the seed stock weed that i bought, so i am tending to think it is nurture, not nature.
4) yes, heathaa, i do live in Florida
5) did i say it works for me?
