man i love your grow.

Ive just started hempy growing and going to try with the 20L buckets like you use.

You def. got it down - thanks for bothering with all the photos and updates.

So much of what you have done i have basically copied.

Can i pick your brains a bit about your feeding schedules in the different sized buckets?

Your plants look very happy and healthy and the yield from the big two you chopped is where i want to be at.

:clap::joint::joint: for you

EDIT: I have recently been told to clean my bong with metho and rice, if you haven't discovered this (as i hadn't) - you will never go back!!

I use isopropyl alcohol and kosher salt to clean my glass; works pretty good. The rice makes sense as an abrasive too though.

Thanks, but I'm only just getting real control of this technique. But I'm definitely going to be pushing 3 oz per plant this time. We'll know in a couple of weeks.

My current veg nute mix is Fox Farm Growbig, 1 tsp per gallon (sorry, not very metric, here), Botanicare Calmag plus 1 tsp per gallon, Advanced Nutrients Barricade which I use to raise the pH back up after the other additives knock it down. I used hygrozyme for quite a while, but when I ran out I couldn't see any difference so I stopped using it. Waste of money in hempy, if you ask me. the PPM of my mix is typically about 480. I feed this every watering, no straight waterings for me anymore. I'm now at day 52 of flowering, so I'm trying to decide whether to go on feeding or go to straight water.

in bloom, everything is the same, except I substitute Tiger Bloom for Growbig. again, it ends up around 480 ppm. Lots of guys go higher concentrations but that doesn't seem to work out for me for some reason.

Thanks for coming by. Do you have a grow journal up to look at?

They are getting fat at day 54. They have a ways to go though :-o I'm not harvesting early, dammit!

Deconstructing my former bloom chamber; I'll keep the studs up; we'll see how cold it gets down here this year. I can just use the reflective insulation to contain a space I can heat if necessary.

My plants are listing over like sinking ships under the weight of the tops. Sweet fruity madness is everywhere.

They are on nothing but water.

Trichs are cloudy/clear about equal right now. Maybe mid-week, maybe next weekend but soon they will come down. Looks like the lower branches are still throwing out fresh pistils so maybe I'll just cut the tops first.

And a good thing too; I only have an ounce or so left from last time. Whew!:blsmoke:

Happy Harvest ! !

It's not a bad idea to cut the plant in stages.

Letting some light get to the bottom buds for a couple of weeks.

It conflicts with my need to flower the now near 6 foot plants in my veg room. My timing is bad!

I spotted some yellow bananas yesterday; just on one branch and I found only a few seeds right next to the bananas. I'm pretty sure my whole grow is not seeded. Got some seeds in June too, but it was very isolated. Oh well! Naturally I chopped it: here's a view. Note yellow stamens and seeds here and there (everywhere!) Edit: this hermie branch was from the mom of all the others so it was the physically oldest plant in the bunch. Don't know if this is significant, but I'm throwing it out there.

I did supercrop, but ultimately the central cola still ruled. I got lazy with lollipopping this time, otherwise I'd just go with one or two colas per plant. My next batch of clones I've sworn I'm going to FIM them once just like mblaze (I'm a fan too). :-P:clap:

Hempy is great. I'm planning on moving away from straight perlite. Azgrow is now using part coco with perlite and I'm interested in trying that. I'm happy with my current method, just experimenting :)
