cutting branches and buds early...

ok here`s the deal. i haven`t been able to get some herb for a few weeks now, and i been massively stressed out lately and could really use a smoke.
I have some plants that been flowering for like 35-40 days now. If i would cut a branch off, at the base of the branch againts the main stalk. Would this seriously hurt my plant?? or would it be cool? or should i just cut some buds and colas off by themselves??
i never cut any branches off beafore, but desperate times call for desprate measures. I mean i really cannot find anything right now, and this is my only option if i want bud:wall:

Ahhh that itch.

My grow went south. 1 Fem... and a dog took it out... so your luck could always be worse.


Last year I did that, clipped bottom branch(es). I determined I wouldn't again. It didn't harm the plant... but once you start... you tend to continue... and while it smells and tastes great, not so stoney. And as you keep clipping you just end up screwing your yield pretty intensely. I cleaned the shears in alcohol first. I guess my willpower destroyed the potential. At the same time, I started earlier than you are considering...

Of course if you have a lot I guess it doesn't matter. I am too paranoid to go bigger than a few, and evidently I turn seeds gay.

I hope it dnt harm the plant , my light fell on my plant the day and knocked off a few branches i am gutted!!! 1 side half bare , that all because im too stoned !!!

You can do it but only a little bit. I've been there and done it but the thing is that since it's still on the plant, ur barely gonna get high cuz the weed's not harvested and cured so there's very little Thc
