pump question

I need to get a pump for my hydro system. I was wondering what GPH rating would be efficient for a 2'x3' ebb and flow tray, with about 5 plants. Would 130 GPH do the job, or would i need 200-300?

A 130 gph will work fine. Just make sure your return flow line will keep up with or surpass your fill flow line. I run two ebb and flow tables that are 3x8 and run them both off of one 300gph pump from a 120 gallon resv. tank

thanks for the info. How many gallons should i have in my reservoir to support the ebb flow? I don't wanna waste nutrients by using too much water. Thanks for your answers, I'm kind of new. Haha.
