Lowrider soil grow plan.. any foxfarm users?

While my current plants are growing im goin to plan my next grow. I am considering either a 250HPS or 400HPS. I live in public housing apartment complex so i dont want anything noticable. I have picked out a lowrider plant so that I can have a short harvest period. Currently im growing my lowrider plant in a hydro foxfarm solution. But for this next grow I want to grow using foxfarm soil in bags.

Ive never grown in soil b4 so ill need some help. What size of grow bags should I get, what type and how much foxfarm soil should i get, and what should i plan for when using soil.

Well,you've asked some goodies.1st,what size plants do you want?I can average 18"per gallon of growth,so with 3 gal,my plants are 4.5 ft on average.Sec,you buy as much as you need,no other way to say it,sorry.Lastly,you should plan on your plants having differenr nute schedules and watering schedules for one,you'll see bigger overall growth vegetatively for two,and you'll get your hands dirty.lol

Im wanting to grow lowrider plants which average 1.5 ft tall. They only grow for 2 months from seed to harvest. So should i even get nutes for it??? I was thinkin of using foxfarm oceanic soil. And if i do then i prob wont need to add any nutes until the very end right? cause the soil holds there nutes for months i heard... but im a newbie so i will have more questions as soon as some ansewers come thru

lowryders are autoflower and dont get above 2 1/2 feet usually.
use like a 2 gallon pot or bucket.
also how many plants are you getting?
edit: didnt know he said the lowryder thing lol
they get above 1.5 feet tho, i've seen a 2 1/2 footer

get 2 50lb bags if your gonna be doing a small autoflower op
i thought it was gonna be lke 50 or a 100
keep them in like 1-2 gallon pots too, fuck it

any bigger size pot just scale up the size of soil

any tips on the soil nutes or anything else.. i have never grown in soil b4 so hows this work?

FoxFarms has a FF Nutes feeding schedule up on their website as a PDF you can download. I've just followed their schedule for almost two years now with their liquid nutes. On my current grow I'm using their solubles for the first time and also started using molasses.

hell yes use nutes. FF OF soil is good for 2-3 weeks with no nutes. Then start low ppm nutes and work your way up. I have a buddy that just jacked a 35 day old auto ak47 up with 1200 ppm FF nutes. She yellowed a little but she told me she loved it.

With autos and FF I've heard "use veg (and big bloom as directed) until it shows sex and then use bloom (and big bloom as directed)"

That's 2-3 weeks on a plant that is growing well to use it up. If the plant is still small that it hasn't used the nutes up in the soil. Then you run the risk of over nuteing.

okay.. thanks for the input... ill research this more when the time is right.. im thinkin about doin some shrums instead
