need help upgrading my grow, i got full sized bedroom to work with

ok so wats up everyone?
right now im about 2 weeks away from harvesting my first grow, i grew 8 plants under 1 1000 watt hps and only 3 were females, they are doing awsome especially my white widow max, it looks amazing!

so seems like i learned enough to at least enough to get thru 1 grow pretty sucessfuly,

what i have at the moment is 1 1000 watt hps with a EYE hortiluz bulb,


what i want to do is grow 20 plants, so i already know that im going to need at least 1 more 1000 watt hps for flowering,

the thing i want to do is make a seperate area to vegetate my plants so i can have a cycle going, i will clone the plants so thats set,


so pretty much what im asking is....

will 1 1000 watt metal helide be enough to vegetate 20 plants?? i want them to be at least 2 feet,


and will 2 1000 watt hps be enough to flower 20 plants???

thanks everyone! i just want to know if you guys think i cud suceed with those lights???

That sounds like plenty of light for what you want to do. You may want to get Flouros, maybe a T-5 for cloning.

yeah that would be a good idea to veg with flouros, less heat and cheaper!

im still not sure wat to do for flowering tho!
i maybe would do 2 1000 watt hps for the 20 plants,,

is 2 1000 watt hps enough for flowering 20 plants?? i want them to get around 3 feet...

i maybe want to throw in an extra 1000watt metal halide in there to help flowering...
dont know if thats a good idea or not.

Dude you could grow 20 plants under a 400w if the pots were small enough.

The question you need to ask is not how many plants but how much room. What are the dimensions of the flowering area you are going to use? From there you can optimise the lumens per square foot.

So post your space and people will tell you what would be the best amount of lights to use.

I have done a perpetual grow with 24 plants under 1 400 watt hps. It is all about how you manage the canopy and pot size. Most of mine were 3 footers.

no seriously man. if your planning on putting 2 x 1000w into a room why not just put 3 x or 4 x 600w lights. Thats basicly what mBlaze is doing, other than putting the plants in huge containers, supper cropping, and using coco. I've got faith in ya man, just have faith in yo self! Wouldn't you like to have to 10lb+ grow?
