Roots coming out from bottom of pots.......

hi, im 5 weeks into veg and noticed that my roots were starting to show through the holes at the bottom of my pots could this be the reason for groth slowing down? if so what next? do they need re-potting into larger pots? they are in 15ltr pots at the mo, thanks

Id get them into bigger pots but before you do this place a good 3 inches of soil in the new pot before you re/pot then top up around it and down the sides etc, its also not a good idea to pack the soil to tight, your fingers should go through it with ease the same as the roots should be able to.

It all depends on how big you want to go. The bigger the pot, the bigger the grow. If you are growing outside you are running out of time.....

Yes, but early on. Unless you are in the tropics right now, the plants aren't concentrating on root growth, they are finishing. A bigger pot may take energy away from the buds or veg growth and at this late juncture would reduce your yield. If he is indoors, no worries. I stopped upgrading a month and a half ago.
