Thanks very much for your response but unfortunately I can't look at the root system, the roots still haven't popped out the bottom of the netcups.

I have never heard that switching to 24/0 made a seedling grow better, I will research it and consider it.

Any other opinions? Cheers
Equatorial Sativas have longer than 18 hour days, Herrer is a cross of some of these Sativas no?

Dude take the foil out. I had the same problem starting with my babies and the theory was the light/heat was being amplified somehow by the foil with the foil being at such close distance causing them to dry out from the outside in. When I replaced the foil with all white surface the plants responded really well and is now producing new healthy leafs. Try removing the foil and post back in 5 days.

Dude, no doubt his problem was solve at least a few days ago, so don't worry.

ALso, foil, when used as a reflector for your walls can create that problem. He, though, isn't using it to that end, he's using it for his bubbleponic system.

He also doesn't have yellow spotting on his leaves, which doesn't indicate any overheating or any condensed light points.

Don't forget to look at the original date of the thread, so you don't make a useless comment. (Not that this one is, but it's just missplaced)

Hey guys thanks for the continued support, here are some updated pics:

As you can see they took the shock pretty hard, losing nearly all their lush green colour. They looked so bad I went ahead and bought some more seeds which are germing now. However I think they'll all pull through with the new growth, just gonna take a while!

What do yous recon, they gonna make it?

I just germed 5 more Jack herer. The other five are yellow and look like theyre giving up. The leaves are curling and look terrible like theyre going to fall off. This is what has happened to the past 4 crops ive planted. I have no clue whats going on, nor do I think anyone on this forum knows. I have my seeds germing over at a friends house. Hopefully that does something.

Ai ai ai, mon. They really like the took a bloody beating from your change. But to me, the colour makes me think about overwatering, perhaps? Maybe I'm just wrong though.

But hey, if they pull through, you could simply call your plants "Jesus" :P
But honestly, they look in really bad shape... Hope they pull through!

Haha thanks, they're in a bubbleponic system so I don't think it's possible to over water them =S - would you recommend taking them out?

Cheers

Sorry, mate, can't help you there. My "expertise" goes pretty much only with soil. But tell me, bubbleponic resembles hydroponic in a certain way? as in it's a nutrient rich solution in the form of a bubble that nourishes your plants?

If so, best to my knowledge, maybe check the "intensity" or concentration of your stuff, as it may be a little powerful.

Otherwise, I'm just ranting. Guess I'd best read up on the subject first.
So hey, I'll try to come up with an answer for you fast, but I can't do much, since schools back in, and I'm sorta doin' a few internships in hospitals and stuff... Might be hard to get an answer fast.

Organic soil from Roots
1 gal bucket
No nutes
A cup of Purified/ deionized ph 6.0 water as needed and that's it!

Can anybody tell me the advantage of going hydro?

Hey mate, please make your own thread, that'll help people help you. More simple to keep 1 subject to 1 thread.

It's not foil, it's aluminum tape. The strips on the netcups are to block the light so that algae doesn't form on the top of the rockwool cubes

Is your light schedule a constant 18/6 or higher?
Did you nute them right after you changed pots?
how big is your plant?
(Please aim to put questions that aren't directly related to the person's problem in another thread. It's easier to get an answer, then. And it lightens up a little some of the threads for people that look for answers too.)
