btw, southern homegrown.... are you just asking because you are worried about your pumps not supplying water to your plants when power goes out?

cuz if you are, i would just get UPS battery backup device and be done with it.


but like SoG said, i wouldnt too much worry about it. just put a surge protector on plugs, not necessarily the hard main line.

and if you really got your ducks in order. natural gas genset :hump:

i think it'll be alright.


i've got mine on a surge protector...nothing fancy at all...so if it gives ill be using that warranty :-x


i wont lie, i do need to replace all my surge protectors with quality ones.... i've only replaced 2 or 3 in the whole. the good ones are fucking expensive. starting at least @ $50 bucks a pop!


also, keep in mind. you ballast should be okay....its the hotfiring of a bulb you should be worrying about. it can kill your bulb at max and at min it can take hours off/premature

Is anyone here into vertical SOGs? I've been thinking about putting a 3x3 arena into action with a 600 watt HPS. It'd have 4 shelves on each of the 4 sides, and i would be putting 6 clones (3 to a shelf) in every 10 days. Second, how much should i expect to yield from 6 clones at a time? I'm trying to put up big numbers, but if it would get too crowded (keep in mind, the shelves will be smaller at the bottom, and larger at the top, so as the clones got bigger, they would move from the bottom shelves to the top, the top being 3' long) then i could maybe to 4 clones every 10 days or 6 clones every 15 days. Anyways, what advice do you guys have to offer? Thanks.
