always nice to get away on a vacation once in a while..its been a long time since i've really gotten away from things.. and now is not the time.. i figure if i put my time in now i am due for a week or so of fun after the flower room is up and running.. at least i know that i can fill the res and get away for a few days without having to worry about things.. even if the did suck 10 gallons of water a day down, which i doubt would happen, i'd still have 3 or 4 days before i'd have to get back to top it off.. thats if i dont have someone else do it for me..

did you go to cedar point?? or somewhere else?? im not much for rollercoasters.. my mom gets motion sickness.. and i inherited that.. it really sucks.. things that go around in circles make me sick.. and rollercoasters are just no fun at all.. i can do the water park thing for sure tho.. gotta love the girls in bikinis..

its pretty amazing how much hydro does grow over soil... i have been completely blown away... i keep saying that but i really am.. i've never had such amazing growth.. amazing looking plants... healthy looking plants... and this is just the first go... the more and more i play around the more and more ill lock things down..

i really think your girl will be fine.. and even if she loses a branch its not that bad... plus you got that clone.. it'll work out in the end either way..

We went to a place by spokane washington called silverwood...Its like 200 aceres or something....4 roller coasters, A bunch of water slides, good reasonable affordable food (for a theme park)....We got a large pizza...large order of bread sticks and 4 drinks....and a table with an Illusionist on stage. i dont mind the hanging ones so much.. its the ones in cars i dont like so much.. i dont know why either.. maybe its just in my head or something... that looked fun tho... i guess the other thing about them i dont like is the idea of waiting 45 minutes or longer in line for a 2 minute ride.. were the lines bad there?? i always hated cedar point for that reason... as long as it was a good time tho.. thats all that matters..

its good you had someone close like that to watch your shit.. it is definatly hard to leave them... a buddy of mine used to put plastic wrap over his pots when he went on vacation so that the moisture would stay in the pots longer..

took a bunch of new pics today... wanted to add them in to the mix... i'm going to start albums for each of the plants in my profile... sort of a start to finish of each plant.. makes it easier to see growth over time...

the white shark is still bushing out.. with the way the lights are she is stretching horizontally towards the outside lights too.. which is nice... but im running out of room.. its definatly going to be a trip trying to make room for all the girls during flowering...

the strawberry cough (back right corner of the room pics) is damn near 75 to 80 percent the size of the white shark... i am loving these bushes.. but again it makes work trying to keep room for everything.. with the amount of light and the directions they get hit from it shouldnt be too bad tho...

im really impressed with the super lemon haze plants.. although they have very different phenos.. you can tell that they still need work getting the strain more stable... but they are bad ass little plants...

I cant wait to see these after the flip. Those are growing quickly.

The lines were real long....20 to 30 minutes for the good rides. We had a real good time....unforgetable. We did almost everything we wanted to except go down to riverfront park in spokane and catch an IMAX movie. I decided to go shop at the outlet mall that used to be the bomb but now looks like a ghost town.

I have a cabin by the continental divide in the rocky moutians and took a swing through there and shot guns and did some camping. We got hit with an incredible hail storm with up to golf ball size hail, it was an excelent storm.

i have been trying to get a guess as to about how big the girls will be at the flip.. so last night i took the ruler and stuck vertically in a pot and left it... it was around 10 or so last night... and the girl i stuck it in was at just below 8"... this morning when i did my normal morning check i looked and she was at 9"... so thats about an inch in less than 12 hours... now, as much as i want to believe that i am averaging 2 inches of growth a day, and believe me i'd love to, i dont really think i am... or, maybe, the plants are getting to that point in growth where they ARE able to push themselves that much a day.. im not sure.. so ill run the test one more night to get an idea.. and i know what plant was at 9" at this time, so i'll check again tonight and see.. i'll also run the test on another plant..

now... lets assume i'm averaging 1.5 inches of growth a day..today is tuesday.. so, including today, i have 7 days until flip... 7 long, grueling days... but, that would also mean 10.5 inches of growth... 7 x 1.5 = 10.5... so that would take the smaller girls to about the size of the larger girls, and might add a couple inches more to the larger girls..

the nice thing about the blueberry, strawberry cough, and white shark being indicas is that the height they are going to veg is about tapped out.. dont get me wrong.. they are still pushing upwards little by little.. but the younger plants are catching up slowly but surely.. it could also be that everytime i can i am super cropping those 3, and havent done too much to the others so they can catch up.. but either way i am banking on a fairly even canopy for flower...

been still working in my head which strain(s) i want to grow after this grow.. i'll more than likely stay within the realm of what i have going now and what i have on hand... the biggest thing i am waiting to see is average plant yield verse height of the plant.. i have a couple girls, mainly the white shark and cough, who are just bushes.. much wider than taller.. tops galore... just beautiful little shrubs... but then i have girls like the bluehash, and blueberry, and even the tundras, that are more vertical height than bush... maybe thats not the best way to explain it.. they arent bushy, they just have thicker more defined, and fewer, branches that will all be tops... if i go with the bushier strains i will be limited to the 12 pots i have... there is NO way i could fit 16+ of those kind of girls in the veg room for 2 months, let alone tryin to flower them with enough room even when i do get the new flower room set up... if i go with the other style of girls, i will surely be able to fit more that 16.. maybe 20 or more even.. without space problems.. but yield per plant, will be less.. i guess either way i make out fine.. just gotta figure what i want to go with and stick to it.. gotta see what the final yields and everything are..

well i could not post pics in P M's so to answer you ? on driveing a truck to my tree stand thats a negative. its 1 1/2 to the gate, butthis is how i plan on getting my kill out. hell it worked great getting the mattereals in to build the tree stands.. i built another one. i got this nice 4 point comeing in.. i'ltake him down hopefully saterday morrning..

the girls have definatly hit stride... i checked them again just a few minutes ago and they have put on another inch or so since this morning.. anywhere from an 1/2 to a full inch... so that means they are averaging 1 to 1.5" of growth every 12 to 16 hours...

now as happy as i am to see this i am QUICKLY running out of available floor space... where there was once a foot of space or more between pots to walk is quickly filling in with growth from these girls!! this is making me believe i wont be able to wait as long as i thought to begin to flower.. or that i will have even more limited space when flowering begins...

the only good thing i have come up with is the fact the hydro system is self watering.. which will be nice since i wont have much room to navigate within my grow...

this also pretty much seals the deal on only 12 plants... 12 plants vegged for 2 months is about all i can have room for... but that also means clones that veg for 8 weeks solid... which means i should be able to get the yields i am shooting for or close to... i cant see why i wouldnt be able to hit a gram per watt... there should be no reason not to...

i have also considered making the flower room closer to 6000w, instead of the previously thought 4000... i still have to figure out if i have the circuits available... and work how i would run my lighting schedule.. i would definatly drop to 20/4 or 18/6 for veg... and maybe 11/23 for flower?? but its still in "planning" phase...

anyways flowering is coming faster and faster.. and maybe sooner than i thought... it just depends on how things look in the morning..


now i have a couple pics to show the growth change over the last 11 days... the right row in the second picture is the middle row in the first for the most part.. there are a couple plants that are in different spots... but to keep it easy an illustrate the point just assume the middle row in the first pic was moved to the right row in pic 2... again the pics are only 11 days apart...

grow rates are holding steady... 1 to 2 inches a day... it just depends on whether there is any sativa in the girls or not... the 100% indicas are holding at about an inch to 1.5" a day.. the girls with any sativa in them are closer to 2 inches a day.. i am glad to know that all the girls will be over a foot when flipped.. i wasnt sure if i was going to get them there or not prior to flipping.. so that does make me a happy daddy

while doing my morning check on them i decided to actually measure the white shark.. pics show her off.. but a picture doesnt always give a good of how things really are... so as of now she measures about 21" tall and 36 inches wide.. yeah just about 2ft x 3ft... she is definatly, to date, one of my favorite plants i have ever grown....

ill throw some new pics up tomorrow.. i dont like posting too many veg pics just because they arent as fun to look at... on second thought i will wait until right before i go into the 24 hours of dark on sunday... then again when they come out... cause it'll be flip time...

so these are going to be the last set of veg pics i will post... any pics after today will be in flower!! being able to say that has kept me smiling all morning.. i just keep thinking how close i am getting.. and as anxious as i normally am for flowering, i'm double this time just to see the difference in hydro verse soil... i've got a soild 6 or so grows in soil, so i should have a good comparison...

been trying to estimate my final yield.... here is what i have come up with...

if i hit a gram per watt, which is my goal, i'll get a little over 5.5 lbs...

BUT

with the set backs and shit earlier in the grow i am thinking ill get close to .75 grams per watt... which would be a little over 4 1/4 pounds..

BUT

the other thing i have been considering is that even on my last grow, with mutiple plants per pot, root binding and shit, lack of any pruning, sever stress, ect ect, i still managed to hit almost 1/2 gram per watt.. which wasnt too bad given the circumstances..

SO

i have come up with 4 3/4 as my estimated final yield... no mater how i figure it i should hit at least the 4 pound mark... gives me hope...

now for the pics...

i didnt go through and label any.. just for a basis of comparison all the girls are at least 1 foot tall right now EXCEPT the smallest girl you see.. thats the girl i started about 2 weeks ago... she's around 6 inches or so tall... i threw the bottle of bleach in there just for another something to compare to...

oh and the pic that shows the girl i am pulling apart was an atempt to show you how thick she was.. its the white shark girl...

i am flowering next week bro!! sunday night i am switching out the res and adding the first bloom nutes... gonna run a 1/4 strength gro, micro, and bloom solution.. along with floralicious bloom and kool bloom.. an i think i will still be using the floranectar... this monday they will be in total dark for the day.. and then tuesday morning will be the start of 12/12... bought damn time huh?
