im growin outside and my plants or like 7 feet tall and are budding. i grew them outside wit just water and molasses. but they dont have a smell to them. do it pose to smell

mallases add's more sugar to the plant the cannabis plant during flowering produces natural sugars this just adds that little bit more.Whitch inturn helps more crystals to be formed and more thc.But don't go crazy with the stuff it can cause damage if to much is added about 50 ml to 18 ltr of water.If you are growing out doors and useing mallasess then i would watre with mallasses in then leave it harf hour for the plant to get the major part of the stuff then water with water to get the sugar deep or the plant will attract insects.So be careful useing outdoors because it can do more harm than good.Once you have watered with the mallasses use a mix of a normal flowering nutrient to flush the sugar mix deeper into the soil.

Your Plants are over 7 feet tall, so it's more likely to be a sativa strain. Can you post pictures?
Regarding the smell....it's still very early, most sativas average 12 weeks to complete flowering, so dont worry to much. The plant will just smell like a plant at the moment, because of all the chlorofill inside it.
Once it flowers more you'll start smelling it. The best way to do this would be to touch the buds and then smell your fingers to get the flavour......Dont do it to much though as this can cause damage to the buds.
Regarding the molasses, take Tyke1973's advice....you are growing outside and you dont want to attract bugs.
