Thinking My Plants too Dry ?

Whasup guys -

my plant is now 1 month and 2 days old, its my very first one,, and i have it growing off 3 CFL's in my closet with a fan cooling it.. its never too hot in my house (or too cold for that matter)

But i feel as though my plants leaves are a lil' on the dry side..

I was thinking of putting it in my backyard a couple days to see what would happen (as far as how much Humidity would help.. cuz theres none in my closet)

Or if theres anything i could do inside my closet space that would help?

**Also - Now that its in its flowering stage.. (im using (3) 2700Kelvin , 1600Lumen CFL's.. with Mylar...

What kind of additives would be a good way to go? Im using plain natural good soil.. no MG.. or solutions, NOTHING.. just soil.. but i want to get it healthy without over doing it -

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !

I planted it from a baggy of Purple Haze.. didnt think it'd grow but now that its a month in, i wanna try to go all the way and finish strong :weed:

:eyesmoke:Help me to smoke my home made Purple Haze !! haha

Plants in the flowering phase need watered more often. However, don't let the top of the soil fool you. I gauge by how heavy the actual plant is, I also, stick my finger about 2 inches deep into the soil. If the soil is still dry two inches deep, you know you need more water.

As for nutrients....its durring the flower faze that they need them the most. The majority of people I know, use foxfarm products. I however, use Jack's Bloom Booster. It is alot stronger and I do not have to use it as often. Works for me.

i never looked into them, but i didnt know they were that cheap, ima' have to get one of them bad boys.

Im pretty sure that the soils not drying out fast or nothing.. the stem is actually redish (doesnt that mean its suckin' up water doing its job?)

BUT - my leafs are curling in a Tubular shape, and they're dry-ish..

Humidifyer maybe??

I would do as suggested stick your finger about 2 inches down, if its dry then water them a bit, also if you have a small enough grow space a bowl of water might just provide the humidity you need

As for the red stem, i have heard two different theories on this, the first is that they are not getting enough light, second was that it has to do with the strain. Not exactly sure which it was but it seems to be that way on all my plants and they are doing just fine. And yeah a Moisture/PH/Light meter is only 8 dollars at lowes/home depot
