Aluminum Foil for reflectors??

SO i was told that I could use aluminum foil on the walls for reflecting but i heard it absorbs a lot of the humidity needed.. So my question is, can i use the aluminum foil?? If not what can I use that is efficient and cost effective??

no dont use foil man. use white walls or white computer paper. foil will put hot spots on your plants and burn them.

yeah white walls with maybe clear plastic would work. if this is your first grow, go with soil. rockwool is used with a hydroponics system.

get high man and do some research everything you want to learn about is on the forum or try http://greenmanspage.com/guides/ . If you have a grow store by you then go there with cash and ask what you can use to grow the best tomato's indoor during winter.

Go Hanna for a tester not too much mulah good quality and go for a soil mixture with Guano, Earthworm Casings Pearlite and some sand i find this mixture really works for soil grows

Hello everyone...excuse my ignorance, but what would be considered "hot spots"? I am using foil because i was under the impression that was the best?!

They are like small saturated burn marks. Not good for your plants. Its worth the couple of bucks for a decent reflector.
