hey,
ok so this is...was a small plant i got of a friend and i put it into my cupboard setup. its about 2 and a half months old now and i was wondering what you guys thought. and if possible weather or not its male or female and maybe even how long until it would start flowering. when to go into 12 - 12 cycle.

This is my first grow so yeah. as you can see its a small cupbord and ive had to bend it a bit and it is a little bit burnt form accidentally overdose of buts but otherwise seems good.

so any information would be great, thanks heeps :)

ok man, ill chime in since I can hear crickets.
The plant looks stretched, like its starved for light. whats your wattage in there? try to get to 60w per square foot of floor space.. go into flower whenever you want at this point, but remember that they will stretch a few inches once you put them into flower too, it is not like they stop growing branches and start growing nugs right when you turn the lights to 12/12.. other than that, keep air moving, temps between 75 and 80, and keep it growing. a fan can help build strong stems and help small plants support big buds. nice work so far, you'll be smoking soon if you do everything right.

thanks for the reply.

at the moment i have got two 15w energy saver bulbs at 3000k and one other light bulb which im not sure on its wattage but it producers a lot more heat and at the moment i think its around 18 degrees celcius so i might switch one of the energy savers for another one of them to raise the temp to around 24 degrees celsius, does that sound ok and is that enought wattage as their energy savers are are equal to about 50watt, so they tell me?

Ignore what they're equal to and go off their actual wattage.

In one of my spaces for example, it is 2'x2', I am running four CFL spirals that are 42w(= to 150w incandescent) so 4x42=168w. 2' x 2'=4 feet of floor space, 168watts divided by 4' of floor = 42 watts per foot.

You want at least 40 watts per foot and 60 watts per foot is better.

Hope this helps.

you need around 6500 color temp for veg and 3000 for flowering. the more lumens of blue in veg it will not make it stretch. red spectrum for flowering.
