Timer Disaster

Week 4 into flower and my timer shat itself, putting the light on for 24/7 for at least 10 days

It went unnoticed because i only check it in the afternoon (when the light is normally on) so didn't spot it until the buds went all weird and putting out veg. leaves.
It's been over a week, since it went back on 12/12 and no hermies yet, but will they start budding again?
Any idea what will happen?

some new-fangled digital one...HPM - only just started using it, but must have got one of the programs wrong when i set it up. Worked fine for a week before. I'm using an old manual one now, the one with the push-down buttons on a dial.

Hmm. I would have figured that was the other way around. I used to use one of the manual peg timers back in the day and it came back and fucked me once. I now use a Brinks 6 day digital timer from WalMart and I've never been happier. It keeps perfect time with my cell phone to the second. Sounds like you've got it straightened out though.

For what it's worth, all is back on track - buds are getting pretty huge, but fluffier than normal. Some male flowers showing on one strain only (might even get some female seeds from it if it self-pollinates). Not something i'd like to repeat, though.
