How big can you veg plant w Fluoro's?

I'm a new grower myself,....6mo. & I have thought of trying to flower something using my t8 veg lights, but when there's 1600watts of hps blazin', it's tough not to go straight under it! I do however have a 400 mh that I have vegged with, but it grows them faster than I can make space in the bloom room, also,$$$$when
i have the time, why spend the extra money?

you get what you pay for. I've grown my veggies til 4 feet in a rare occasion with t5's and they were dark green and extremely healthy.

I grow my Vegers under T5 I like them between 24-36" before flowering.
If you have patience, I say go with what works for you. There is no need to burn a MH if you cna get the same results over time and in a timely manner that works for your flower rooom.

I agree, that's why my halide is boxed up.... Had thought of adding it to the bloom room,but I have a 1000+600hps in a 5'x10' already, wonder if there would be an advantage to mixing it with.....1000hps+400mh, or just keep my current rig?

I think it would get too hot.
