How to make Colloidal Silver to make Feminized seeds

i have only had silver work as intended when i made my own some store bought concoctions may work but most do not ime. 30% h202 is available at most hydro stores its not readily available mainly because 30% will eat through your skin quickly and we all know people are mostly stupid.

Pinkus, another question to you , as you seem to be the only Bull Goose Loony willing to discuss some issues on this site. I've got a clone only strain that i have been growing for 10 years. The genetics come from the Northern part of Cali, as I have friends in Mt. View, Ca. It traveled here in a 1973(for the car buffs)2002 BMW Tii, hidden in the engine compartment.
I've been in the process of CS'n three of them(i have 13), so as to create a fem seed strain. I call my Lady, " Buddha's Balls" because of the growth pattern of 'balls' of super hard nugs that pop out of the stem, getting larger towards the top kola. Hardly any leaf trimming. The strain is pure Agani, finishes the second week of Oct. How much pollen can i expect from the three clones that will receive the CS water? I realize that size will have lots to do with this, so, they're about 3 feet tall now and ten days until flowering. I want to pollinate the 10 other BB's, my question is;will i have to 'hand collect' the bananas, which i see as a pain in the butt, or, will i be able to just arrange the ladies in a tight group and shake the Hermi showering the others in dust? Will the CS create full blown males with tall plumes, or, a series of bananas pods what dictate hand collecting?
I also have some interesting fem God Bud crosses that i want to throw into the mix.

Bike ~ How long did you cook your CS for? I made a batch yesterday and cooked for 7 hours. Today second batch is going on 16, want to make sure it's strong! Thanks for the insights about H202. need Hort 50% but it doesn't exist it would seem?
Using a 12 volt also, could make it stronger?

too much voltage increases the particle size which is undesirable as we want small particles which can enter the plants tissues easily so lower voltage is best 12v or lower and of course use ro or better yet distilled water never tap as it is too conductive and large particles will result. i run my batches for 12 to 24 hours or until the solution is a grey color this seems to work. a normal tds meter does not give accurate ppm with cs so im not sure what ppm i end up with but i have produced pollen with my mixes on a stable tahoe og clone. so yes it works when done right otherwise a more simple approach would be reversing with ga3 which is effective as well. the one biggest drawback with cs is that the amount of pollen produced is unpredictable and minimal most the time. hope that helps.
 
All sound good, going to follow it. Just finished off a 24 hours batch. Have been using distilled water, so am on that. My charger says, " 12 volts", so I'm good there too.
Have you heard about a laser beam being used to see how well it's done? I have the report in front of me as yet unread, just got home and am bushed, but enjoying some Buddha Ball as i write and eat. What do you think about pouring it through a coffee filter before storing it in a bottle? How long will it last? Should it be kept in the fridge?
Seen a nice set up with a series of 4, 6 volt batteries. Have you seen this set up?

Haven't went back and read all the threads, just going to ask you, my Buddha Ball clones are in the first 5 days of flowering. When do i begin the CS spraying, and most importantly, how often? Sounds like there's not going to be much pollen using this CS method, so I'm tempted to spray all my 13 clones, and let them self pollinate, instead of collecting the pollen from the bananas. I'd never use fem seeds for any breeding program.
Need lots of fem. soldiers for next spring's ground war, so that may be the easiest, quickest way around the track.
I've been with this clone for 10 years and never seen a hermi seed in all them years. Not really worried about getting lots of them by letting the ladies self pollinate. What is your experience with the two different seeds? The self pollinated and the manual way? You've been at this a while it sounds.
 
the seeds should be the same either way you do it most people begin spraying a week or more before flowering begins daily or every other day. i spray for about 10 to 14 days if you overdue it too much you can kill the branch your spraying. store the silver in glass containers as plastic creates a static charge which can degrade the silver solution. light also degrades and limits shelf life best place for storage is a cool dark place but not the fridge as too cold temps affect it as well.

Really want to thank you for the serious responses you've given me in the last few days. Nice to pack-in the egos and assist one another in these matters. I freely i admit that I/m new to this site and lack the relationships that one builds.
Yet I HAve been growing outdoors for 40 years and in three different countries.
In many matters I've forgotten more than most will know about the growing of huge outdoor crops. This isn't kids playing "grow" in their closet. It takes lots of planning and not to mention expense. Having/making/growing with fem seeds is something we've never tried. May plan isn't to spray "a branch"
rather, need to create 1000's of seeds before springtime. You've helped us do just that. Not sure what "going Ghetto" means, but we're not looking to do to herb what Asians did to gardening.bonsai is for those that have lots of time and nothing to do perhaps?
 
I take it back then.. I thought you were just expecting larger application of weaker solution to work, not devote the entire crop to seed..

Nothing to take back really or I've missed something? As I've said, I have 13 clones of a clone only personal strain that I will work with.
If there's not a lot of pollen produced from this method, then that dictates I use more of the 13 to get where i want to go. So, I'm figuring on spraying all of them every 3rd day with the CS water I've made. The whole plant(they are lolly-popped)so as to get as many seeds as i can. By the way, most do not understand the "brush method" of pollinating females. Most mis-informed try to "paint it on" which is totally incorrect. The "insider's" way to do it is use a small chicken feather tied to a longish, thin wooden stick. The pollen rides on the feather and is tapped over the bud, softly causing the pollen to drift down onto the waiting flower brac. How's that for "going ghetto"? Few understand these things. Mostly, small breeders are involved in these matters. My interests are very diverse. You a breeder? LOL :)

I believe that because of the numbers i seek to reach, the CSW is the way to go.
Yikes, has anyone called and asked for Silver Nitrate, or Silver Thiosulfate from the chem photo suppliers? Huge Bummer. So, the CS is the way for my intentions.
 
hey nine coats glad it got worked out. my experience with CS is only theoretical, except for taking it a few times on the advice of a healer. BR it seems has the most practical knowledge about it..in fact i think this calls for +reps for both of you:clap:

Hey BR ~ I've been at this since 1972, began in college trying to feed the massive demand for da herb. My instructor told me something very funny; he believed that you could grow pot in countries other than tropical. Imagine that? He's dead now, but what he'd given me allowed me to supported myself for 40 years living by thee laws of nature. Wondered if any you dudes are breeders, or just interested in this CS process?
 
Pinkus ~ Hey dude, you were the first to be polite to me on this site, so, many thanks for that. Guys "like me" generally do not breath the clean air, we stay well under. Yet this project is beyond what i have knowledge in, so, I've returned to the classroom as an old "Black Dirt Warrior" to learn from the young dudes that will replace me over time. Again, are any you dudes breeders? Is there anyone interested in discussing the exchange of personally developed genetics? The seed sellers have reamed us a new orifice by charging insane prices for beans. I'm interested in beginning a discussion concerning exchanging beans with one another on this site. Something like 10 for 10 seems right. Many of us have killer genetics that we've personally developed using "bought" genetics. Time to quit paying those high prices and go back to being interested in what small breeders have crossed. If I'm out of line suggesting this in a CS thread then forgive me? Herb has changed the evolution of mankind, we have played an important role in these advances. Can't we all become Strain Hunters?
 
yeah im a new breeder getting started i have many projects going now mostly with med clone only strains here in socal. the ga3(gibberelic acid) works to but causes stretching etc.. it would be good to do a side by side test to really see which is more effective regarding pollen amounts. on some strains i have simply let them go far past harvest and often most strains will make a few bananas before there life cycle ends. but cs is simple safe and esy so i mostly go that route im going to try a recommended product for reversals called stamen-it at some point. ill let everyone know how it goes supposed to work well and produce decent amounts of fem pollen.
