How reputable is Jorge Cervantes?????

I was just wondering what other people thought about Jorge Cervantes?? A few people on this site have said that he does not cite or source where he gets any of his information. I just wanted to get others opinions on him. I know A LOT of people who do everything based on his DVD's and horiticulture bible so if he is or is not reputable people should know.

ALSO, In his bible he says that different conditions create more of one sex of plant Ex. High humidity= more females, low humidity= more males, low temp= more females. Does anyone know if this is actually true or not??? I have not done an extreme amount of searching but it is hard to find anything else on this.

his " instructional videos" dont teach you a damn thing, except how to get a woody every time you smell a growing bud. and along with all the other video's, non of them really teach you the information that you really need.
for example: jorge cervantis, teaches some basics of indoor grow rooms, how to fram one ( i thought that anybody can get a box made outa wood) his ideas of what kinda soil mix to use, and thew same with see more buds shows how well they can grow cannibis, but they leave out the best stuff like.
any informational video or book doesnt include trouble shooting or a full list of symptoms, or a list of insects.

I would love for sub cool to make a video, I would think that it would blow the others out the window.
roll it up has been the best guide to growing, and i wouldnt waste the time or money on j.c. videos.

I own his bible and I'm glad I purchased it. I read a while back where someone pointed out some conflicting information contained in it but I don't recall it being anything major. Your buddies could to much much worse than to follow Jorge's advice. There's consistently good info in his monthly High Times column too.

Nope never read a book in my life..............

I used to go off Jorge all the time. He is not that bad. He teaches you the basics, teaches about making teas. I have his bible and all the DVD's. I find some f^5ked up comments in his book but nothing that contradicts himself. thats why i asked for OTHER PEOPLES COMMENTS. Its called looking at things at another angle. Trust me I read his bible and other books of horticulture. He is not ALL wrong. he cant be. He is not that stupid. and his shit would not get published if it was ALL b/s. NOT ONE PERSON can actually given a solid example why he is no good. Just comments about the person himself. Lets get some actual evidence showing what he says refute what say ed roesenthal says. And if no one can they really cant be saying to much shit about Jorge. IMO cause they are just doing what he is.

i dont know the guy personally enough like others on this board seem to do to have an opinion on his character, but i have owned the bible for several years and feel it has been the biggest help in my growing.
