quick question

how long would i have to veg my plant to make it produce 6 ounces if a 400 w hps was used and its in small closet with only two plants.....(aeroponic grow by the way with a 125w 6400k grow cfl)

six ounces is unrealistic under a 400 unless you trained it into a scrog or something and even with a scrog you're looking at half a year to cook up 6 oz's. A pound has been done from one plant under a 400 in a perfect scrog. It took a full year.

ok cool well under a 400 hps what will a plant produce if i vegged it to 4 feet tall b4 i flowered it?? (grown aeroponics style)

Are you crazy???I yeilded six ounces off of 4 white widows with only 6 weeks veg.With only a 400..No scrog or lst just focused on main cola growth.It could be done...

Start flowering around 2 and harf ft but make sure that you have plenty of room and light on them and you should get that weight dry.But use the best nutrients sensi plus and a seperate product like buddy or big bud.Make sure.. that the plants have plenty of co2 and fresh air.Also don't forget that the plants will tripple in height in the first 2/3 week then they tend to stump and consentrate more on bud production.Also the vegging all depends on how much yeild you will get if it has been vegged right with close internodes[This will only happen if the lights are close]then there is no reason why you should not achive these weights.

dude i dont want to burst your bubble but 6 ounces from an indoor plant is hard to achieve even for the best of guys i dont think you can get that with a 400 that is what i use and i just dont see it happening sorry im not bein negative just realistic, is your plant a sativa or indica this will decide everthing. dont go into it expectin too much just be happy with what you get.

ii think the only way your going to be a ble to harvest 6 oz off a 400 is if you fill the canopy.. I think sog is probaly more realistic so say u take 4 clones every 2 weeks and harvest 1 oz per clone that would be 8 oz every two months after your first harvest which could be done in as little as 5-6 months from seed to harvest. Of course that's wishful thinking but it could be done.

thanks everybody...i have a 125w grow light that produces 6400k and i keep it closeto it. my plant is bushy not tall at all. my grow area is the perfect size for two plants and i have mylar up every where and my veg light does have a canopy. my plant is not even 2 weeks old and looks like some of the plants on here that are 3-4 weeks. i think a 400w hps light should be plenty 2 give me my 6 oz. ive seen marijuana plants 7 feet tall produce over a pound. i think i can get 6 oz of off a 6 foot one. but once again thanks everybody and thanks tyke 1973 i was thinkin of added molasses and super nova for my flowering nutes...
