ok for some time now i've had this 500 watt halogen on my plants that i found in my garage when i was short on lights, and man it is super bright!!! as you know, it also gives off some super heat......... aside from needing bigger pots, the only real problem i've had was with this halogen. not only did it burn my plants but it made my bedroom really hot. i've finally found a solution to this problem. i've suspended my halogen directly above the grow box (finally transpanted the plants into bigger pots) is roughly about 20 inches away from the plants. i have 2 23watt, 2 13watt, and a 10watt, about 2 inches away from the plants. i have 2 fans one blowing in between the light and the plants, and one blowing on them. its finally looking like the heat issue is going to be resolved. im going to need a bigger grow box as the plants get bigger, but for now its going to have to do untill i can find somthing big enough to hold 6-8 full grown plants. plus some will leave once i find out their sex, which i think they are showing now so maybe i'll take a look and chuck the males. plus i have 3 plants outside in pots i can replace them with............ i'll keep you guys updated
