precautions one should take when meeting a new "guy"?

hey all, i did a silly thing because my source flakes way too often, and made a thinly veiled craigslist posting trying to get a bite from a possible source of our common love.

I got a bite, im just a tad paranoid about finishing a deal. Ive never had to buy from strangers before, much less strangers ive met online for these purposes.

any tips to avoid getting jumped or arrested if i decide to go forward?

UHhhhh.....lets see....tips to avoid getting jumped.....

1. Don't do it(wont get jumped or arrested)
2. Bring a weapon.....if its 5-0 then you get "aggravated" added to every charge.
3. If you don't know what you're talking about atleast act like you do....less likely to get ripped off.
4. Bring a friend with you just incase.....let him wait at a safe distance as to not scare the guy you're meeting off if hes a legit reliable hook up.

Thats about all I can think of....good luck to ya

this would be easier in my aquantince (sp?) who buys for me would put me directly in contact with her guy, but i don't know how to ask her, without being rude.
Its also very possible that she is taking some for herself or taking a cut from the sale. i wouldnt be mad if she was, b/c without her ive got nothing.

She definitely is taking some off the top....if she wasn't she'd already have introduced you to this dude.....as long as you don't know him she gets some free weed whenever you hit her up and you probably smoke her out too huh?

Oh well, thems the breaks of being new to the wonderful world of weed

You could either ask her straight up or next time you pick up a bag just be like "hey can I come in with you? I wanna meet this dude who hooks me up"

Craigslist pot ad leads to pot bust

QUINCY, Mass. (AP) - A man has been arrested after he allegedly placed an advertisement on Craigslist selling marijuana. Police said undercover detectives responded to the advertisement and bought a small bag of pot from 30-year-old Christopher Gray for $45.
According to police, Christopher Gray posted the advertisement on the online classified site with the words "420 help is here." The item read "Give me a ring if you need some help," and listed a phone number, which a detective called Friday and arranged for a meeting with Gray in Quincy.
The term "420" is believed to stem from the time of day that smokers at a California high school in 1971 would meet to smoke pot.
A telephone listing for Gray was disconnected and it was unclear if he had an attorney.

Im not really worried about a cop, i have no priors, and in ga the amount i would buy would be a misdamenor without jail time. I doubt that they would do a sting for possesion of an 8th.

anyways, im pretty much done with entertaining the idea of contacting the bite i got, just really hard up for a little bud, not in the mood to drink, and about 6 weeks away at the earliest from a havest.

thanks for the feedback though. perhaps you helped me safe from a lot of hassle, if not worse.

Honestly go down to your local 711 or gas station and wait till you see some teenagers or someone that looks like they smoke, and ask them..
Thats a hell of alot safer than craigslist

Change the location to down the street at the last moment

If he cant drive down the street then fuck him.

Cops would be setting up cameras and posts and all that shit at the first location, no way they could get set up AGAIN in a matter of minutes (They can always arrest you but as for a large police operation against you they wont have 100% of their resources)

edit: the above probably doesnt apply so much for an eighth, but still....




Overall though, I wouldnt buy from Craigslist... I just saw a news article about a dealer selling on Craigslist, he got a bite, from the cops....

What you need to do is move. Asap. Looking on craigslist for weed? I can walk to the corner store and yell out who got the green and will have 3 grams to smoke and some money left over for a sandwich. Why do people go to these places that don't offer the things they love the most is mind boggling.
