Even with those cfl's it shouldn't get that hot, a small to mid sized fan exhausting out and a passive intake should work. Dont forget that a fan inside the set-up builds stem growth as well as cools the area. Good luck.

Im running 8-10 (it varies between the two) CFL's in my 2ft x 3ft grow tent and it can get VERY hot. I had to go and buy an a/c unit just for the room bc tent would get to 100+ degrees, and never got below 90.

Depending on how well the a/c works in those rooms, you should be alright as podunk mentioned. Just be sure to get a small desk fan or oscilliating fan for inside the tent to circulate air a little and promote stem growth.

Get some ducting and duct fans.Have one side bringing in fresh air at the bottom from a window or something..The other side u r dumping the hot air outside into a crawl space, attic somewhere out.

you shouldn't encounter problems should you have an exhaust as high out as possible, and an intake as low to the ground as possible.

p.s the room outside my closet doesn't get too hot even in the summer. just try to promote efficient airflow throughout the entire space.

If the room that is connected to the closet you are going to be growing in is 85-90F, you are going to have heat issues that you are only going to be able to fix by drilling holes and mounting an intake fan to somewhere that's cooler and exhausting the heat somewhere else. Some people have to install air conditioners in their grow areas because of all the heat. It looks like you might have such the situation. There really isn't a simple solution to your problem. You could do blocks of ice with a fan blowing over it, but you'll have to change them out every 8-12 hours as they melt, but you still need to provide fresh air to the room or it will get stale.

I thought you where asking how to give somebody rep haha.

You shouldent have heat probs with CFLs. I open up my closet for about 3 hours a day and get a fan on the plant. So you really shouldent have to do much at all to keep the temps down.

Good Luck
