Grow Box Question.

1st timer here but I have a question. I am going to pick up some organic soil and some pots and try out a new system. Its simple but i would like your opinions on this design. I am going to get a T5 sunblaze with red and blue spectrum as well as the white. I am going to buy like a 40 gallon plastic rubbermaid tub from walmart and coat the inside in reflective mylar (think this will be fire sife? This is my main concern.) an i am going to mount the lights on the lid. on the left side i am putting a fan venting in and on the right side I am going to put a fan blowing out through a cardboard tube with a few scented filters to get rid of the sweet stank (think that will solve the smell problem?) I do not have a lot of room but do you think this will be ok to grow 2 or 3 small plants in? Thank you for the help and everyones posts have helped me a bunch! Peace guys/gals!

Scented filters might work for the vegging stage where you have almost zero smell, but if you try that on flowering your gonna be sitting in a house full of stink and rushing to try and cover it up. The idea you have is in the right direction, just keep reading and working with it and see how it works and improve it little by little. Trial and error is the key to growing.
