thanks man! Im currently using a closet that is about 4 feet wide 2 feet deep and 8 feet tall or so.

How long do you plan on vegging? With only 2 plants on that space you can let them get pretty big, the only problem is you may need some side lighting from cfls/flouros. That HPS isn't quite big enough for your space.
Also, where did you get your beans? I've been looking into getting some of those.

Wow looks good, I just ordered some Master Kush on Monday, cant wait to get them in soil. I just started some bag seed and i have 2 growing really nice, i think i need more light though. Nice grow dude have fun

they are sweet looking, but hps is really for flowering due to the light spectrum, Hps is in the red zone, You need like a floro or cfl to help the veg cycle, they are more in the blue side of the light spectrum, you can mix the lights too, but i would get a floro or cfl they aint to expensive you can get the fixtures at a thrift store and get the bulbs at home depot or lowes, With those plants u got i would give them anything they want, and they will reward u in return, GOOD LUCK AND GOOD GROW

oh one more thing what kind of medium r u using? I know its dirt but what kind and what is the N-P-K and youll have to think about your pot size and transplanting cuz you dont want to get root bound, They are to beautiful to not let them be comfortable, IM NOT CRITICIZING ANYTHING JUST TRYING TO HELP.

that looks nice strong and healthy man, what soil, nutes etc are you giving it? and is that vegging under an hps.. pretty impressive
I'm particularly interested in this grow because I've got some ak48s coming and will be going cfls and a 250w hps all the way, in the same closet size too heh

Looks good so far. If you plant to use that light for the entire grow i would recomend you start to bud sooner than later, they will grow three times the size in bloom! Peace
I was thinking about 4-5 weeks but I guess it really depends on how they look, I dont want them getting too big. Its funny you mention the cfl's because i was just thinking about that so maybe i'll stop by home depot soon.
Oh and the beans are from Nirvana and they are feminized. I would totally recommend Nirvana the seeds came in exactly 1 week and super discreet shipping too.
Thanks for the advice high, dont worry man I could use all the help I can get so anything you wanna comment on is totally cool. The soil is fox farm ocean forest and I love it so far. I probably wont introduce any nutes until at least week 4 since ive heard fox farm soil does really well on its own in the beginning. Also, I just got some pots yesterday for transplanting...they are 12 inches wide (doesnt say how many gallons). When do you think is a good time to transplant? I know it causes stress on the plants so I was thinking of doing it in a week or two so that it can rebound well for flowering.
Just Fox Farm ocean forest for now...wont use nutes till later. Yeah I am using the 150W HPS for vegging and also flowering (all I could do with my budget) but after everyones advice I might get some CFL's too.

i do advise a few 30-42 watt cfl 6000k on the spectrum
what is your air movement in the closet?
ventilation is key grab few fans if you dont have any one the top pushing out warm air the closet and one on the bottom pulling in cool air
are you planning to top or lst ?
scrog would work perfect for that size closet btw
I would transplant into a 5 gallon buckets in a week or so put up a screen about a foot above them and start weaving them through
some you may have to tie cuz theyll be so resiliant
till its mostly filled since im pretty sure the ak 48 will strecth but not to much so 65% to 75% screen fillage
if you have no clue what im talkin about or just want more info this grow can help

FF OF is by far the best, your 12"pots are perfect, Nutes in 4w is perfect, 2 weeks till transplant is perfect Dude you got it going on,You did some Reading first. Will you be flowering right after the transplant? what will be her Photoperiod at the time of transplant? (lights on, off, schedule) cuz you want to do it right before she goes to sleep and lightly mist her foliage afterwards

thats a sweet setup is it drain and flood or is it costantly getting fed through the tubes going into the pots then into the res, how many gal is the res. and a nice harvest man

Thanks man, this site helped a lot. So, its interesting you ask about the transplant because thats ones thing I havent read a lot about. I was thinking of giving it a week of veg. after the transplant so that it can recuperate and be strong for flowering. For veg. I am using a 18 on 6 off schedule and for flower I plan on doing 12/12. Do you think my idea with transplanting is okay or am I just being to cautious?
Right now I dont have any "real" intake or exhaust. What I do have is a fan on the bottom of the closet and another up top circulating air. I also leave the door for the closet open during the day to circulate in fresh air and keep temperatures normal. This is only a temporary solution until I get my fan which will exhaust air out of the closet through a carbon scrubber and up my dryer vent (which fortunately, I have access to from my closet) which leads to the outside.loooks like your starting off on the right foot

As far as lst and topping and the other techniques you mentioned, I have heard about them and done some reading about it. My whole thing is it seems like it might be too ambitious for my first grow, I kind of want to just grow these girls out and see how they grow normally and then try different techniques on my next grow or something. But thats just how I feel now I might end up changing my mind. Thanks for the info. though it really has got me thinking about it more.

that all sounds real good she will need a little rest after the transplant a lot of peeps do 20/4 for veg for quicker growth time, Is she on18/6 now? Personally im a 24/0 person, its overkill but i need my timer for the flowering closet
