i agree, i cant stand people making political opinions and proving points with youtube videos. i could make one about anything, it would get hits, and the more hits i got more people would belive it. how old is this video? it seems all of the information in it is from year 2000, look at how young larry king is! this just looks like spliced up segments of biased news reports. and the flash animation propaganda in asinine, it illustrates a mutely valid point, but its so simple and crude its almost insulting
and i know more than anyone how hard it is to get a job in modern America, our phone jobs are outscored to India, china Pakistan and Mexico make almost everything we use, and if it says "made in USA" it probably means "parts made around the world and assembled in USA". i harass businesses like hanafords subway, honeyfarms, cumbys and restaurants with applications, but they never call me back. not because they have a basement or truck full of illegal migrant workers, but because people who should be working better jobs are stuck in the shit jobs that i want

I don't think anyone can simply say...oh it's youtube...it's not worth watching. It's like any other media..... what most ppl lack on these forums is the foundational understanding of economics and/or business to be able to view data in the correct context and when to spot shenanigans and spin. The dumbing down of America is having an effect.

I would frankly call this staunch resistance to change, or a cop out.
Is an established TV evening news program, showing a speech, less credible than a journalist who disseminates a speech and provides op ed?
If I want to show you specifically, in context, what a person is on record as saying, I am going to search videos, and will absolutely use youtube. If you wish to challenge that something was digitally edited to misrepresent something... well... then provide some evidence to that fact, and support it... (I recommend using youtube to find an unedited copy).
Op ed is op ed, and far too much of it goes on in ALL media. It is sensationalist and biased, which is a shame. There are more credible sources out there to be sure... but if a piece of footage I am looking for happens to be in the middle of some agenda laden crap, I expect you are smart enough to take a piece of evidence for what it is.
I guess that is the difference between you and I. I assume people are smart enough to fend for themselves, or accept that they aren't. You assume people are too stupid to understand the data because of the bullshit around it. Op-ed is op-ed.
Data is data. When I am arguing 9/11 at least half of my sources for images or video are from conspirator sites. The authenticity of everything is scrutinized, no matter where it comes from.
Youtube has been the source of more than one headline, and while it is lazy research... it is research... it just forces YOU to fact check... which is your burden in rebuttal. They have stated a position and provided evidence.

I agree the animations are very amateur, but its not an art film its just a video about how back when they were proposing NAFTA and they said it would be good for America and create lots of jobs, and then he shows what its like now and you can certainly see that NAFTA did not help the citizens at all, it only helped the big corporations get bigger while the working people just got poorer. Mexicans and Americans are all worse off, only the big corporations and Government benefited.
