Kush, you should get your little seedling in a cup like all the way filled with dirt, if you keep it in that there is like no room for roots to form, and i dont think you need to change to 18/6 for at least a week... if you have 2 23w bulbs they can chandle 2 or 3 plants for now....ive been thinking, since your concerned about height consider in about 3 weeks flowering her and you will get a nice personal amount of bud in a lot quicker time. look at this thread, he had 12 light 12 dark from seedlings https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/191205-15-bagseed-grow-beer-pong.html.....you can veg it for a little just so it gets a lil bigger than cahnge to 12/12 if you wanna....also to control height you should top her (not yet but just preparing you) lol you have plenty of time before you top....my seedling sprouted im bout to post the pics, check it out lol

whats good see its working out 4 you iight!!!! just to let you no that when you get threw the seedling stage its gets easier cause it takes alot of fu*king up to kill a plant feel me so after afew weeks n shyt its all good lol she'll blow up!! good luck my dude im watching iight!!!! oh yeah heres some piff(haze) seeds that i started 12/12 from seed grow they are like 2 weeks in this pik uts my first time 12/12 from seed its iight just wanted to show you my nigg keep it up !!!

dont change anything yet, butt you should consider growing a flowering seedling so it stays small and grows quicker and you will have a half ounce AT LEAST...if you top it probably more bud...just something to consider look at this grow, he is doing 12/12 from seed on Kali KUSH https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/220117-cali-kush-1st-grow.html

veg for a month at least, the plant isnt mature enough to show sex for a month anyways.
id say after 2 weeks switch to 18/6 and then 2 more weeks later switch to 12/12 and it could take a whole week or longer to show.
budding/flowering can take from 8 weeks to 14 weeks

you wont need to change the pot yet. id to it at 2-3 weeks maybe. actually you should transplant into a bigger pot when your plant is big enough to handle the MG nutes.
if you were going to transplant today/this week, id say yes you need to prepare your soil by removing those nute balls, but if you wait you wont have to do jack

yea alright. the nute pellets arnt in the soil mixture. i added them..not knowingly..lol..

i think you should transplant into a full beer pong cup, you have like 2 inches of dirt, if you go all the way up it will grow better, it is up to you but i think she will like to be in a full cup of dirt than like an inch

yeah nc kush if u want short personal plants you should start 12/12 from seed it will be mad easier to do u plant the seed when it sprouts you turn it to 12/12 asap and it will show sex 3 to 4 weeks no veg!! unless u want to veg 4 a month i didnt i just went straight up 12/12 i just found out my sex in like 3 1/2 weeks and there doing great!! also they got rootbound because the beerpong cups were to small 4 them! i put them in those chinese store won ton soup things lol and they are doing way better!!! if i didnt use the pong cups i would of found out earlier what my plants sex waz!! whatz up with those update pikz kush!!!

naw def 4+ weeks, wait till you see it at a 3 weeks or month, it will be smaller than you think. by then you should have transplanted it and it should be ready to show its sex and flower
*edit*- if your stoked now wait till it starts to smell a bit in a week or less. it starts as a light planty smell, but you detect a faint marijuana odor
