What do you think......Should I harvest?

You can enlarge these pictures up to 200% without any distortion if your browser allows to get awesome close ups. Sorry for such large photos, I wanted to show a detailed view.

At first glance its a no brainer. About 80% of the Pistels have changed colors. The trichromes are all milky and peppered with amber trichromes. My dilemna is The trichromes are beginning to change to a purple color. Not amber, purple.(See Pic 5)
Pic 5 shows a clear picture of the purple trichrome stalks and if you look closely you can also see them in the other pics.

I know that cold weather can sometimes change a plant to a purple color, One of my plants is actually doing that (See pic 6). but this is not the case. The plants branches started turning a purple color last week when the weather was still warm and slowly moved to the leaves spines and finally to the buds.

So what I was thinking is, I should wait and let the trichromes continue to change to purple before I harvest. What does everyone else think?

i second that..i got some really nice trimmers, i dip the blades in EVOO (extra virgin olive oil), so that i dont get too much resin stuck to it. happy trimmings there "frend" :)

Ok then. I guess we're all pretty much in argreement then. Im gonna saw off a dozen or so branches and I guess Ill join you all in a fine morning of trimming. I am gonna break out the shears, some previously trimmed buds, and some rolling papers. Then Im gonna put on some really good music and get to work. Have Fun.:joint:

Thanks for the tip Vince. The EVOO is definitely on the shopping list and I will give that a try soon.

Any more tips are greatly appreciated.

I like to keep a clean straight razor next to me when trimming...when the scissors get to sticky it time to scrap that resin off with the blade and use as a topper on a bowl...

Yeah, very strong. I had it drying in a back room in the house and my wife and daughter have been complaining all week about me stinking up the whole house. But then, they always do about this time of the year.
