how is that supposed to work though? if your growing outside how is the sun going to get to your plants. wouldnt having those over your plant reduce how big your buds can get

I know you're an outdoor man...but if you're gonna go and build something that resembles indoor just jump in with all three feet.
Ask someone here for the scrilla to pay for it.
my neighbor gave me a smaller one as well. i was messing around piecing it together earlier. i can kinda make what i want with it. the way it fits together i can interchange this pole for that and what-not. it doesn't have to be that exact shape. i'm gonna have fun. most likely will crush a few branches as well.

This SoCal dude has some "back 40" shots of a shed built of out telelphone poles you will appreciate. Mix and match-make itwork. Still working on it actually.
You'll like the vibe when it's done. Whenever that is.

I think (now I shouldn't be speaking out of turn but) he will be using it to keep the buds from getting wet when the late season rains start up. Then I could be wrong, I sure have been before. LOL

Okay, here's an idea I have been kicking around but has not left the virtual stage.
Build a simple "A" frame using PVC pipe (1 1/2 inch) but don't anchor the roof frame to the apex. Instead build two opposing roof sides and have them pivot at the outer top wall. This way you could open the roof just a bit or all the way. You could build a rack so the roof wall could slide down vertically to become an outer wall with no roof, or make the roof overhang long enough to become a wall when opened up.
Another way would be to use two old fashioned garage door spring sets and build two frames connected in the middle. You would end up with two garage doors facing opposite of each other and joined in the middle. Cover the frames of the door with greenhouse plastic and you can have two walls, or two roofs, or one roof and one wall, etc. etc. Just swing them into whatever position you want to.

my greenhouse uses carport rails. i found a carport that was demolished, but the ground rails were pristine. the holes for the steel tubing where 3/4", so i used pvc 3/4". i just made hoops from hole to hole using 20' foot lengths. any math nerd can tell you the the radius of the arc, which tells you my height of structure. the carport was a 10x18. a good size to start with, but i wish it was taller and larger(next year!) maybe i will break habit and post a picture other than my avatar. fdd i like ur style, it will be very nice, be careful of those branches. when i break a branch my mouth says damn, and my mind says, shoot that coulda been an eighth there! can't wait for pictures, wish i could help or hold the ladder. good luck brotha man!!!!!!!

music while on a jet ski, i imagine quit high as well. what a day. my buddy has a sea-doo challenger 1800, with a big stereo. its too much fun! almost should be against the law, oops better not give fun haters an idea!i'm crabby today. got a lot to get done and my new waterproof MP3 player took a dump on my at the lake yesterday. it worked for 2 outings, now i keep getting a "format error". i've deleted everything twice and reloaded but it's still locked up.
