ive seen pics. never thought they would spin that fast. i bet alot of electricity is used just spinning the unit.

yeah this is the new Sun Pulse light. theres a big article about it in aug. high times. there are 4 diff color temp bulbs, 3k 4k 6k and 10k. one on each tip. the temps arent exactly that and they keep the exact temps secret. the 10k light is unique that it provides a really low frequency light that no other HID can. it basically brings super full spectrum light. runs at like 1600 watts total.

the spinning also helps keep temps down as well.

I saw the ad in HT and I watched a few seconds of the vid. I have to say that I think it's just a gimmick. You can do the same thing for about $1,800 less. All you need is an oscillating fan, a couple of sticks, a couple of screws and your regular light. This spinning light thing does no mimic the sun at all. Just my 2 pesos.

I dont think its purpose is mimicking the sun other than the lights spectrum....i was told by the sales guy.....HID lights cast shadows...no way around it. THIS UNIT supposedly avoids shadow casting..there fore more even distribution of light.

I have personally seen what these lights can do. Your buds on the bottom of the plant will be the same size as eveything eles. Your local Hydro shop has just recently started to cary these lights. I think possibly after my first grow tha im going to pick up the single spinner. Perfect for a 6x6 room (which I have).

That sounds reasonable ...but for $2,000? It would take a lot of extra bud to make up that difference. Besides, a light mover is a light mover in my opinion - for whatever that's worth. I just get so tired of people ripping growers off. I bought nearly the whole lineup of Advanced Nutrients only to find that a gallon of Iconic grow and a gallon of Iconic bloom (1/10th the cost) worked just as good if not better and I didn't have to play "chemist" for an hour a week. If someone has the money to spend on this thing then more power to them.
