Can anyone plz tell me what this means !!

This seedling is about 5 days old since sprout ...why are those first set of leaves pointing upwards ??? and do they look alright for 5 days since sprout .....an absolute newb here ..so need your help...they are under CFLs for say 16-18 hrs a day...under 32 watt CFL lighting...

Looks like its mutated, or it could be reaching for the light 2 much. How close to the lights is the plant?

Could be curling from heat? Whats the distance to your light? But also look at the leaf tips. They look like they are yellowing a little. Which might be a nute thing?

thanx for the help ppl ...its about 2 to 2and a 1/2 inches away from from the cfl ...what mutated(do they mutate??) ...shouldnt be very hot as the light wattage is quite low and the overall temperature of the box is not hot _(just a very little near the cfls....thanx for the help

i used ( 50% of this + 50% of garden soil + some small pebbles , clay particles for drainage)


does the nute level look too alarming for seedlings ??

The nutes listed on the bag look ok, mine are in Scott's potting soil and I think the nutes are higher even than that...but I didn't mix anything else in with it, so maybe it's the rest of the stuff you have in there? A thought - bag says the PH for that is 6.5-7.5 , once mixed and watered your PH level might be going too high, have you checked it ?

its npk nitrogen potasium phospurus and it has very low percentage so its good to start from see with out burning them and etc , and additional nutes wont burn so it good and vermiculite is like lava rock to help drainage man
