This mean im doing good?

planted roughly a week ago

1 of 3 of my very first plants is growing pretty healthy-ish.. just wanted to know if im jus' jumping to conclusions, or if im doing right so far -

-the plant im reffering to is 1" 1/2 tall..

-about a finger's length from leaf tip to leaf tip (roughly 3")(width)

-BUT.. it has 4 decent sized leaves, and 4 tiny lil' leaves coming from in between the big ones..

-and in the very center is something else sprouting out.. right now looking like pistol shaped things.. (sure its not the pistols from seeing soo many pictures of em' (female pistols) poking out UNDER branches..

-pic is messy ( used to have a Nikon d300.. will again soon )

AND.. all i used is a Folgiers (coffee) plastic container (wit' leakage holes.. haha..) and SUPPOSEDLY RECYCLED DIRT?? ionno.. but its working.. and i put i Bannana peel on the very bottom.. cuz Will smith said it in the movie "7Pounds"..

maybe its the bannana?

** Oh yea.. so total of 8 leaves.. 4 easy to see, and 4 tiny and my cam sucks..

** tiny leaves growing out from the top center..

** and this isnt counting its baby leaves..

IM JUST CURIOUS, CUS THIS IS ALL MOSTLY FOR PRACTICE TILL I CAN GET MY OWN PLACE, BUT IF IT IS DOING GOOD.. IMA' KEEP IT GOING STRONG IF I CAN

sposed ta' be a good 'fertiliz-ish' or.. nutrient giver.. or SOMIN.. ionno exactly..

but its a bannana peel.. so it shouldnt hurt to try.. specially wit' my ghetto set-up.. (my practice run)

End Result so far..

Thats my set up.. i got the light bulb a couple inches away.. did the hand test for heat.. Put foil to kinda relect the light and or reFRACT the warmth. .
Keep it cooled wit' a house fan and im using the 18-6 right now.. after reading.. going for a shorter plant.. i shoulda did the 24-0 but i dont wanna mess up the cycle. ( cus i want a nice short healthy one )

you may want to remove the foil as it will heat up and may burn your plants. also foil absorbs light which should be for your plants. use mylar or paint the inside of your set up white for better grow results.

you are off to as low but good start however you may want to add at least 2 morelight bulbs to increase growth and suspend them a couple of inches over your plants otherwise you will have them stretching. this has happened to me on my first couple of tries and growing now my plants are abut 8 in tall in 4 weeks time but bushy as fuck.

also you will need bigger pots for better growth however this will not be possible in that space. you may want to sex them and dump the male, keep 1 or 2 if you are lucky. better end results.

Thanks, i've decided to dump 2 of my 3 plants and give em' ta nature and let them do their own thing, they're yellowing and have stopped growing..

i'll jus concentrate on my better plant..

since those pictures i've elevated the plant literally 1inch away from the light.. cooled by a fan, with plenty air circulation.. but i dont have any humidity really - (how major IS that?)

WOW.. i didnt know shiny wrappin' paper was made of Mylar, sweet. Thats really helpful.

I do also have a shiny window reflector thing.. i might jus do that

Yea, i never cared to learn about wattage and all that, so when i initially bought the light.. i was hopin' "Man.. i hope my lamp cord supports this 100watt'er".. but then it jus' kinda clicked after thinkin' bout it and all -

QUESTION
if i switch the schedule from 18-6 to 12-12.. would it mess with its cycle ?
Heard that 12-12 was actually better while reading around..

any inputs greatly appreciated
