I have this Beastie Bloom stuff and wondering when I should start using it. it a 0-50-30 product and Im worried if i give it too soon it will harm my plants. I will start off with small dose and go from there . But when exactly do I start using this. Anyone with fox farm experience please help +rep for those that do.:peace:

I've only used it once, but I used it once I had budsites. I used open sesame in the beginning, after I had budsites I switched to beastie bloomz and then finished with cha-ching.

Worked out pretty well but if this is your first grow you should just stick to the base nutes. If you don't, as always I would stick to a weak solution and only use it every other watering. Don't feed on every watering.

I decided not to buy open seasme cause I figured all three of the solubles were a waste. Im actually trying to test if there worth the money. So one plant im just going with the basic ff line up and the other feeding solubles as well. I just dont know when to start the beastie since Im skiping the whole open seasme step. I know Im pretty much leaving preflowering now so I figured Maybe now but not sure. here the link of the other post. https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/220840-preflowering-flowering.html

You start the beastie in about the second week of flower. You can use it stand alone or with other nutes. Go easy with it though, strong stuff but works wonders!

I wonder if the manufacture's chart would help...;-)

Well for me no it does not. Some state this is feeding sched for flowering only some state its for the whole cycle and is usually for indoor growing where everything is controlled. But I found Im growing outdoors and have to stray away from the schedule a little due to the time frame it actually takes for the 12/12 cycle outdoors. So Im trying to get a feel for when to add. So far Im pretty much sticking to the schedule for weeks 4,5,6 without the open seasme Now Im pretty much comming out of the preflower stage and wondering if now would be a good time to start the week 7 feeding or wait a week or so longer.

Well.. the schedule calls for it to be used on the second week of 12/12...

I do not see how indoors/outdoors dirt/hydro north/south would make a difference...

Second week of flowering is second week of flowering... regardless if you veg for a week or a year..

But... go with what you know...

I was just trying to help....

This isnt available to the U.S.A for some reason.
Honestly I think they discontinued this product theres alot of forums stating they cant find in USA or Canada. I tried locating this stuff as well had no luck. Its not even on there website. Only thing i do know about it is that is a rinse agent to help prevent lockout.

Im sorry if I came off the wrong way. After spending a couple hours searching the forum I noticed people are quick to post the schedule and I have studied that schedule for hours.. For a first time grower I felt that with being outdoors it wasnt as simple as that sched and still had questions about it. Also wasnt sure when to consider that Im flowering wich is why I posted another thread asking if Im in preflowering or flowering. I see alot of pistills but also see some preflowers that havent opened up like the ones on top. I was trying to find a post as to when your considered out of preflowering and into flowering but having no luck agian sorry if I came off wrong. And thanks for trying to help.

well.. there is no set rule...

lots of people have different opinions as to when it's flowering or not..

to me.. it's flowering when you look at the plant and say..."it's flowering!"

and the bigger the plant, the more chance you have of different parts of the plant doing different things...

...

and just so you know...

I grow in Hydro... one big res for lots of plants in different stages... (I have a perpetual harvest SOG)

And I have used all 3 solubles... one at a time... in my res... with plants of all ages...

Not one was hurt...

I think that not OVER-feeeding is more important than WHEN you feed...

Sweet thats exactly what IM looking for for I was worried i would harm the plants if I fed the wrong nutes at the wrong time. But you say all your plants turned out fine. So im gonna go off that. Ill start off small just to watch how the plant reacts. Just one other question I suppose did you find the solubles made a difference in weight density and resin production. Basically are the worth the extra money or could one achieve the same resluts without the solubles.

Well...

That is a very good question... I like the way you think...

I have never use the Fox Farm line up without the solubles...

But I will say this...

In my hydro setup...

after testing out a bunch of different nutes and additives...

I am right back to where I started...

1 nute and h2o2... IN HYDRO...

And I get the same GREAT results as when I was spending hundreds on additives and more additives...

This is what I put in my res now... this and water...;-)

REMEBER... I DO HYDRO...

Lol Im sure he didnt want to here that. the solubles cost more then the 3 liquid nutes they sell. And to get the same results without using all those additives. Seems fox farms may have jumped on the money making scheme.

I never said he could get the same results using Fox Farms without the additives... careful there...

I am sure they use the solubles to better manage what is available to the plant at different stages...

But I like simple...

and I find that in my case, the light makes a way bigger difference than the nutes..

I thought that is what the big bloom was for. And I do use it almost every watering at about 1/2 the recommened mix. Plus I use Final Flush from time too time. Just depends on how the girls look and what the run off ph is reading.

Yep, you gotta watch the plants and not the calender. FF schedule works. But you will have to adjust a bit from grow to grow. Dont be afraid to use it, play around a bit and experiment. Mary Jane is much tougher and more forgiving then some lead you too believe.

You can, and I have, gotta wonderful results with just grow big, tiger bloom and big bloom. And as far the solubles go, especially growing in soil. At a 1/4 a gallon, a pound goes a long ways! And once you have played a bit. You can use it to your advantage and increase yield and trichs. And I have found mid to late flower if the plants are doing very well useing beastie and cha ching as stand alones do very well.

This is the FF lineup of Papayas in my flower room now. Pretty much a FF grow with just a few additions. (dark enery, liquid karma and cal-mag. The cal-mag only because I use rain water. Outdoors no need for it. They have plenty of soil to search for the micros they need.)
