I am running a 1000w MH bulb w/ YieldMater reflector
what do u have for an exhaust and intake(CFM). if u can pull air directly off of the light like a cooltube or a hood with glass u can keep ur room around 78. i am running a 1000 HPS flowering with a hood with glass hooked up to a stanley blower set at 1200 cfm.

Heh, Well I run a 1000w and currently I'm using an AC unit, an air-cooled reflector with a 250cfm duct fan on intake and a 295cfm squirrelcage on the exhaust. I have pictures in my Album... My temps stay right at 70 degrees in my room 13 inches under my 1000w. And its 95* outside, 85*inside the house and basement. My flowering room is literally the coolest room in my house :) for more than one reason... Check out my album for pics

Hi first post here, looking for a experienced grower in closets, How do i cool down my room? It is averaging 95 degrees!!
im not very experienced but im having the same problem, you can try leaving door open during day, it worked for me , but down the line probably an ac will be better, specially if stealth is a problem for you. opening the door droped the temp for me from 95º to 86º .

Which is still high and slowing your growth rate down HARD

i guess an ac is the answer then, got to trim 6º at least from temp still, maybe with the ac i can close the door back again and get the results i need. lol

How big is your space?
I just threw in a window a/c my Dad gave me 7,600 BTU my room is 6x5'6"x7'9" w/ a 600 and an adjust a wing and it is 78 deg. perfect. You can get them relatively cheap compared to the $500 portable units. Check craigslist in your area too, under appliances.
