cannabis sativa???

hello riu ok so while i was visiting some friends in sacramento, i came across this plant that i was sure was like a natural growing cannabis plant cuz of the plant(has nodes like mj) and somewhat the leaf structure. we were next to little streams and ponds and im pretty sure im wrong but maybe i found a weird strain of ditch weed? lemme know. thanks

Looks like some normal ass plant to me. I don't think it's cannabis at all.

Looks like a potentilla of some kind. Not cannabis, but looks very similar as far as the leaf pattern.

Poison ivy? not even close. Poison ivy has much broader leaves, and they aren't serrated like cannabis leaves.

It's definitely some kind of potentilla, which is a common cannabis look-alike. I've got some growing in my backyard. Kinda freaked me out when I first saw it, I was trying to figure out if I'd thrown some seeds there at some point!
