press-drying marijuana?

Ok first time grower but long time smoker. I remember a while back we did a science project for dendrology in which we placed cuttings of a list of trees in between newspaper and sandwiched one on top of another and applied 40 pounds of weight to press them flat. My question is if that same concept could be applied to fresh cut marijuana nuggets. It seems plausable but I don't want to fuck up my first crop. Thanks, Hashbob Potpants

would prolly squeeze out the sticky icky and be more of a mess and less potent bud .. unless you were using rolling papers as the layers :P

The whole reason I'm not hanging them is because I need to stealth dry them. Is there any other stealthy dry method that works as good as hanging?

How so? Do they dry more or less quickly than hanging? And how often should u check for mold/ dampness?
I know sumone who trims ther plants then cuts the buds off the branch and lays the buds in shoe boxes or paper bags two layers deep and let's em dry turnin the buds over every so often

I've never really had the problem of paper bags getting too wet, as the buds do not retain an immense amount of water. It makes sense to open them up daily just to check how they are progressing. If you stash them in a drawer say, then whatever moisture absorbed will evaporate quickly enough.

just put them in a paper bag that has plenty of extra space for more air to get around the buds, and it depends how dense ur buds are for the drying time, could take up to 3 weeks
