Hey, Transplanted from outside, need help, age, tips i dont know what to do...

Hey all, So i will tell you how the plant got outside before anybody asks or is curious it was a work of a miracle. Over the winter my roommate was growing a female clone, it started to burn so he threw it outside. We guess the plant started regrowing on its own sometime in the summer, the grass wasn't cut for a few weeks and I stepped outside and found it sitting where he threw his out, it was about 16 inches tall.

So I dont know how old it is or what stage it is in.
The first 2 pics below are when I first got it 11 days ago and brought it inside. The second 2 are 2 days ago what it looked like, it got huge guess it just needed TLC . Any who I was just wondering if anybody knew how old it may be and when I should start switching the light to 12/12, also I know this is a bad thing, it has been growing under 2700k Fluorescent lighting 240w. I plan on getting some 6500k soon. Its also been on a 18/6 schedule. Anything I should do or need to know?

I am so lost this became my experiment plant to learn from. I have 30 seeds (growing 3-4 at a time) waiting for me to grow afterwards.

As I think of it I am pretty sure the original plant was skunk strain.

Man she's a beauty. Get a fan on her she's gona need to fucken that stem since she's been used to outdoor wind you don't want to change the environment too much.

You switch over to 12/12 when you feel your plant is healthy & large enough to satisfy your needs budwise. Obviously the smaller the plant the smaller the yield. Start nutes at 1/2 - 1/4 the strength & gradually increase. She's big enough to get on a light diet.

Don't over water. She has been used to maybe rare waterings outside. Use the weight method. Heavy bucket after a full watering differs greatly to a light dry bucket. So water after it goes dry. A weed can survive with little water as opposed to drownng her.

& tons of good luck on my behalf. That looks like a beefy plant so far.

Please don't go cutting leaves or plucking them due to how beat up they are if it's green it's mean & it'll grow vigourously soon. Do not stress her she's already in shock from the transplant. Take it all slow she's got some healing to do.

Note: you need 1gallong of grow medium for every foot of growth that may occur during the flowering stage.
(5gallon pot for a 5footplant at end of harvest) this way you avoid transplants.

Thanks for the help, I have been giving her nutes not a lot just a bit for now. I also did trim some leaves when I first transplanted her because they went weird and i wanted to avoid infection, and yeah a fan has been blowing since she first moved in to bring up the CO2 from the ground.I am also pretty sure the is about 2 - 2 1/2 gallons of soil in that bucket (5 gallon bucket)

Stress can cause a plant to turn hermi. Just watch out for male flowers when she starts to flower. I think this plant may be like a rescued dog...Maybe it will reward you with a potent return instead of loyalty and affection.

Theres a posibility it wont turn hermi..Theres not a whole lot you can do, it sounds like the plants been stressed out for awhile.
Id say keep it in veg for awhile longer..it needs repair itself alittle more before you start flowering IMO

Ok sweet thanks for the tip, it was kind of a last minute holy crap is that a MJ plant beside our BBQ. And recommendation for the nutes, its on a 25-10-10 and for flowering should it be 15-30-30 if i am correct.

Based on what? It's been stressed? Lots of plants gets stressed and don't herm. Lots of plants herm for no reason. You can't tell by looking at his 4 pics.

You're doing everything fine Miscer. Get a bigger pot, get some 6500k bulbs for veg (you can mix the spectrums too...maybe throw one 2700k with the 6500k for veg and vice versa for flower) and get a little fan.

It's looking pretty good in the third and fourth pics...what nutrients have you been giving it? It looks a little lacking in nitrogen, but it's kinda hard to tell with the pink and purple backgrounds. Just be sparing with it until it gets bigger, but it looks like it starting to come back just fine.

240watt fluorescents...is that a fixture of 4' tubes? T5's or T8's? Either way, they should be big enough to handle more plants, so you could start some of those seeds or take a clone or two from the rescued plant...I mean, if you have the space and resources already in place, why not fill it up?

Im saying from personal experience which i why i said IMO..

Those numbers are a little high...but the proportion is fine. If you can find some organic fertilizers that is a good route to go...fish emulsion is readily available at any garden center and works well for vegging.

That's cool, I totally agree, it could turn hermi because it's been stressed. But you're initial comment was that it will turn, and that probably scared him more than was necessary. It's all good though, we're on the same page. We'll just have to wait and find out what happens to this plant...

Thanks for the advice man, yeah they are T12 bulbs 6 4' bulbs 40 watts each 2700k, I want to go out Wednesday and possibly get some 6500k's CFL's. I am also waiting for this plant to finish before I start new ones so when i start the 12/12 cycle it doesn't mess up the others.

How would I go about telling if it is lacking Nitrogen I have been giving it 25-10-10 nutes, Not alot and a semi week batch of it. And clues to look for?

You can tell if its nitrogen def if your leaves are a light green and if the older leaves are turning yellow.
And like jerry said, organics are better then chemical fertilizers..those numbers are pretty high to.
Do you have a hydroponics store around? They always will have good organcic nutes.

Oh yeah, also they plant might be in shock so dont be suprised if its slow growing to start out with..

Ok yeah I do, the guy in there seems kinda sketchy though ha ha its in a back ally. The leaves don't seem too bad, I just took some El natural using a flash so here they are, and yeah the first few days I had it, it didn't grow worth crap, It only started 6-7 days ago, I've had it for 11 days now.
