1st time grow. I'm working with 5 42 watt CFL's 2700k. Each bulb has one of them homedepot 10" round reflectors. Growing 1 plant and the seed was from sweet ass shit.

Veged for 1 month then flowered. Been using Fox Farms Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom plus the Grow Big I used in Veg.

She is approx almost 3 ft. I had to do the unthinkable tho. I didn't realize during flower she was going double/triple in height and she outgrew my box (2x2x4H) and I had to clip the very top of the cola off at approx 3wks flower because it was getting way to burned from the light. She however is still getting bushy at the top but it will not be what it should have been. Luckily I have many side shoots that are getting large! She is still a lil too big for my box. Next time I am going to build a bigger box or not veg as long.

I am currently at Day 101 (Day 55 Flower) and i had some errors during the way. My cat knocked a box into my timer which then the light came on for 1 hr in the middle of her sleep period. it stalled flowering for about a month till i realized (she sleeps at night so light came on 2-3am) She is back on track now and progressing everyday.

P.S. - I Love 90 Minute IPA from Dogfishhead

*edit* - I am looking at 3-4 Large side shoots, 6-7 medium side shoots and 8-10 small side shoots. So i'm HOPING for about maybe 1 oz dried

Thanks man. Yeah the two fans at the top are both exhaust (I think 35 cfm each). I actually just put another intake on the opposite side from the one shown in the pics. I did my temp test before doing some light proofing/sealing and was getting 33C right at the lights and just checked to find that it has risen to 40C (I have the thermo right in with the lights, so its actually cooler down where the plant's canopy is). I think the one 2" passive intake was too small, so i'll see how this works.

Strain is "Sugar Blossom", a mix of WW and something that smells lemony, I really like the results from my first grow...seed bank descrip:

Sugar Blossom F2

These are second generation seeds made from F1 original brother's Grimm stock. Sugar blossoms is an improvement on white widow. The brother's Grimm's legendary skill is put on display in this masterpiece. Here is what the catalogue says about Sugar Blossoms: Smokers of White Widow almost universally comment that they wish it tasted better. The Bros Grimm set out to solve this problem by creating Sugar Blossoms, a skunky, lemon-flavoured White Widow hybrid. Expect hardy, vigorous plants with an Indica-dominant growth profile. Short & branchy, Sugar Blossoms is a high yielding, fast flowering, resinous plant that produces dense, sugar-coated buds that has a great taste and a light lemon smell. This plant, like most Brothers Grimm offerings, is easy to work with, trims up very easily, and has a beautifully balanced high.

Indoor flowering 8 to 9 weeks.

Is white widow supposed to be indica dominant? I've looked at some seeds that said sativa dominant and then some that said straight 50%/50% mix and then some just say strong indica. Is it all three, what is the "classic" white widow? I always thought it was a energetic high, dont remember it being a couch-lock type high...unless what i was smoking was not really white widow as I was told!

I am looking to grow it but not if its a heavy couchlock stone.

Here's my small grow box (18 x 25 x 36) with 4/42watt and 2/26watt CFLs. I will eventually replace the two 26watt with
two more 42watt bulbs

here's my lil closet stealth cabinet (30" H x 24" W x 12" D), totally sealed around doors and every single joint is sealed...fan exhausting at the top via 90 degree aluminum duct into the wall that opens to the attic, fan intaking air at the bottom, 120mm fan blowing on bulbs and canopy, all fans (except intake) on variable speed control. There's an additional 6 inches above where the lights are plugged in that didn't make it in the pic...that's where i stashed the variable speed fan controller and the exhaust fan is up there too...the extension bar can be moved up as it is screwed into metal tape on either end...
