Need help with problem and am unable to find anything like it on any web site. I am 4 weeks into first grow. My setup is 3 plants, each in a 1 quart container with 1 68 watt 2700 k cfl / 3 28watt 6500 cfl surrounding each one. Soil is miracle grow organic potting soil. I water every 2 days and fert at 50% once a week with a 20-20-20 all purpose food. The problem appeared after the first 2 weeks with the oldest leaves developing browning on the tips and curling upward. I immeadiatelly flushed the soil hoping it would resolve the problem. The ph has stayed between 6-7 changing a little between waterings. I ve added lime to the soil prior to planting and have been watering with epson salt over the past 4 waterings with no success. The browning continues up the leaf until the entire leaf dies. I ve lost 3 sets of leaves thus far. It has appeared on all 3 plants, worst on the largest. The temp stays at a constant 78 and the humidity is steady at 52%, All the plants are roughly 4-6 inches in size. THey are all ak 48 feminized seeds. If anyone out there has had a similar experience i would truly appreciate any help that is offered. Thanks!

pic would be great

first problem u used mg soil has nutes in it, seeds and roots don't like (N). nutes to early stunts growth stop adding more nutes. so ur plant are 4 weeks old but probably look like 2 weeks

second= is the soil time release, it should say on bag if not check it see if theres little nute balls. if its time release stop flushing it will only add more nutes.

third= u don't really need the 2700k bulb(for flowering) the more 6500k the better for vegging i used 2700k and my leafs turned upward. they didnt stop until i changed to 6500k

fourth= ph is changing, are u controling ph of ur water

fifth= need more info and a pic if anyone is going to properly help u like where are u growing(how big), do u have a fan or ventalation ect..

i would say stop adding nutes

the soil is mg organic does't say anything about time released nutrients so i'm assuming it doesn't have any. The size of the box is 4'4'4' with 2 9" 750 cfm fans venting it. i'm using bottled water to water with due to the alkalinity of my well water and the ph is normally around 6.5, varies slightly depends on each gallon. I ve added hydrated lime during one watering to attempt to neutrilize it more, but haven't seen results of it. I would like to post pics just not sure on how to yet. The browning continues despite my efforts, starting just a little on the tip and progressing toward the rest of the leaf. Thinking about foliar feeding till i get it figured out. I may flush it again to see if that helps.

do u have a hydo shop around or any thing other than home depot or lowes. the best medium for seed or clones is perlite(not mg brand has nuts) peat moss and worm casting all cheap. u could even go with out peat moss and use more perlite, i pay 2$ for a 4.5lbs bag of brand name(wiggle worm soil builder) worm castings 1-0-0. nutes stunt root growth and stunt plant growth in the 1st week s of life. have u though of cloning at all.
