Very true. My second harvest yielded twice as much as my first grow. Also, you reap what you sow. Garbage in, garbage out.

I see your point, and sometimes I share your frustration, but my point is that we are here to try to help one another and not be dicks. Some people don't know how to use this site 100% and others just want other people to spoon feed them the info so they don't have to do the work themselves. Either way, I think we should help both of these types of people. If the end result is the same; more good smoke on the planet...I say it's totally worth it. If you don't want to help then that's your choice. I guess I just don't see the point in being hostile. Anyway...peace and love my friend.It would take less than a half hour of reading the growfaq to know 100% that you absolutely cannot use that light and that miracle grow is absolute crap for weed.
If you can't take that baby step yourself, you aren't cut out for this game. I'm not a know-it-all, and i'm perfectly willing to help people out that really need help. I'm not willing to help anyone that's not willing to try to help themselves.
There's such a wealth of easy to obtain information here and no need to ask questons like this. This is the same kind of person that comes on and asks if he can do sea of green with a case of cut in half beer cans, a bag of cheap dirt from wal mart, and a couple 1000w halogen lights.
To answer the OP's question, your minimum yield is the same with your max yeild on that setup, which is nothing. You're going to have a couple of dead ass plants and possibly burn your house down.

the light may be shite but infact u can use miracle grow for weed, most brands claim their the best at gaining high yeild n all that but if u know what ur doing u can use that

your dumb man, u didnt bother to actually read the posts huh? we gave him links and pointed him in the right direction and he came back with questions on what he'd learned so far and we...ya know. i was gonna write alot more but your just not worth wasting any more of my time on. so, mr. know it all, lets see your grows if your so damn smart and know everything.!u should learn to start reading from the BEGINNING of a thread not the end or middle. we all said it could work for him not that he should. we told him their are much better options out there but what he had now would work, just not the best!

Oh what the hell, I'll chime in. Everyone has stated the obvious that your bulb is junk and pointed you in a couple good directions. FIRST you need to take the advise and read the entire thread on growing. I started a grow only after reading everything I could on how to do it and have not had one question I felt I needed to ask because all of the info I needed was already answered here. If you're strapped on cash and space, go with a cfl set up. You can get a few power strips and load them up with cfl bulbs for a small budget. Veg that bitch for a month and during that time, save up some cash and buy a HPS light kit. If you can only afford a 250W, that'll be fine for a single plant. I would suggest at least a 400W in case you want to grow say 3 plants next time, you'll have enough light. You need a cheap fan to circulate cooler air or you'll burn your plants up. Read everything you can find on soils and nutes(nutrients) BEFORE you start. This will save you from waisting your time and killing your plants. Don't drop a seed in some dirt and then come here asking "What now". People seem to get bent out of shape when all the answers are already here. Plan your grow, get all the things you need ahead of time, and do a LOT of research and your chance of success will be much higher. You can do what you want to do without spending a fortune on lights,soils,nutes, etc., but you have to have a minimum basic set up or you're just pissing your time and money away. I hope you get the answers you're looking for, but at the same time, don't get pissed off when people are a bit brash over basic questions that have been answered over and over again. It's going to happen. The key is read, read, and read some more. You will do fine once you understand the basics. Good luck dude. Hope it works out for you.

Let me start off with saying I totally agree with what you're saying to the starter of this thread.
It's called tough love. The guy makes no effort to learn for himself. If he wants to grow, he needs to take time, shut the fuck up, and read read read.
You answer this stupid question, and he'll be back tomorrow asking more stupid questions. Over the course of a month he'll learn 1/100th of what he could learn in one night reading the growfaqs, and the forum will be clogged with more useless info.
