GOt a shelf unit and need help

Hey guys i got basically this shelf unit and i have 6 cfls attached to 3 power strips. i want to somehow attach the power strips to the walls of the unit. they need to be able to move up and down too. how would one go about doing this?

on the back of the strip there should be a set of holes so you could mount it. they will be like slotted holes so you can slide it onto the screws. you could drive 2 rows of screws going up the side. the screws need to be pretty close or the strip wont slide on to them. and you need to leave enough room between the screws so the strip will fit when you raise or lower it and other screws are not in the way. you should be able to install all the screws and tighten them just enough so that it slides on to the screws but is still snug.
do a test fit on every set of screws.
make sure each strip with the bulbs wont interfere with other strips.

but its not wood, its plastic so how do i make sure the screws are secure? maybe use washers and nuts on the back or something?

You could try hanging the strips with parachute cord. It's cheap and you can get it in the camping section of wal-mart or some other big box store.

Easy. Spring wing Toggle bolts, Fender washers, lock washers, 1/2' Drill and appropriate size drill bit for your toggle bolts.
