Low Budget Startup Grow

im using an.. i dont know.. i think 3 part fertilizers are the best..where the micro is seperate from the bloom ,and so forth.. so General /AN/Foxfarm and many others all make a 3 part...

Im with you...I think 3 part is the way to go...I have cost concerns right now having to upgrade more lighting before I upgrade nutes. Im just going to use guano tea until I have a full crop running. I like the accuracy of the feeding schedule that you can accomplish. AN does a good enough marketing job that there going to get a nice little peice of change from me eventually....I want to run the whole +2 program. Then Ill have a good perspective on things.

see thats bullshit false advertising... the nutes are important.. and 3 part programs are the best.. but there is no nutes that are good enough to make up for lack of growing skill... if you cant grow weed no amount of lights or nutes or anything will save you from a shit grow... you either can grow or your cant... and really i think if you are good enough to grow that amount of bud with those nutes, then you can probably do it with any nutes available.. they have fucking perfectly controlled everything and people who do nothing but grow with their stuff and know how to maximize the use of them... now if they offer a refund or some sort of garuntee that if they dont work you'll get something back or whatever, then it'd be worth it..

Theres deffinitly no guarentees.....I have a ways to go before I get there....for the 2 plus program you have to have a sealed room with co2, sulpher burner, alot of AC..etc

They do a great job of advertising, but i dont see how they could guarantee anything. One thing I like about the company is they spend time researching cannabis growth...not tomato growth or african violet growth.

I am curious the differences in the different companys...I have heard good things about humbolt nutrients....I heard they took hired some of advanced's scientists. Im going to give 3 or 4 brands a try so I can get experience with them, and test results.

i have a LOT of general hydroponics products right now.. but i may experiment around... think if i do switch it will either be to A.N or technafloras BC line.... but again.. i think it has more to do with the grower and how well they can utilize the nutes than the nutes themselves..

My store just got AN in and it sound like Bud Candy will replace TWO maybe Three addatives. I hate mixing lines of nutes so I guess I'll give AN a go next spring when my Botanicare runs out. Hope it tastes as good.

i wonder if i when i place my next large order it would be worth getting a small bottle of the AN line and just trying to out on one or two grows... well i better not.. i have 2.5 gallon jugs of my 3 part system and i dont want them to turn bad...

Id stick with what you are doing unless you feel like doing a comparison. Plus I hate waste.

Did you get a chance to see heaths hydro set up? Im thinking of going with something like that when I go hydro eventually. I want to try subcool super soil for a grow before I go hydro.

AN has good marketing...There is a nice full page advertisement in the high times this month. Have you been happy with botnicare? I have been using organic tea, which I really like but I have been having a hard time getting everything flushed out before harvest. Im sure its because of the breakdown nature of the tea. The guano has a rating of 0-7-0 but that is deceptive because thats only whats immeadieatly available, the majority of the power is left to break down over time. I think the chem fertilizers will break down faster, flush eaisier.

Ive been like a one leg man in an ass kicking contest the last few days. In the mean time i had a small case of spider mites. I went in and washed them down with a spray bottle washed the ladies. Then I quarentined them with a no pest strip. Its 2 days later and there history. Now i gotta hatch the eggs and kill them.

I cant decide....The 2 choices I have is to throw six plants into flower that are about a foot or so in height. Then 4 weeks latter I could add some more to get on my perpetual cycle.

or

wait and keep vegging in the little room for another 2 weeks and pull 15 into the flower room and veg with the 1000watt hps and some flourous till there biggger. Flip them to 12/12 and add another 1000watt hps in 4 weeks with another 15 or so plants, and be on a perpetual cycle?

Any comments on small plants vs big plants?

The plants in flower according to my calculations are like 55 days in but they don't look like it....I think my adding may be fuct...Ill just watch them till they finish. I fed these and watterd them too light...they don't have the size as the last 2 runs....Cant wait to get the new strains flowering.

dude sit on that grunk.. thats a keeper. all are good.. but im thiking about trying to get 30 of these rooted and running all this strain. serious resin. sorry to here bout the mites. seems like regionally they thrive up here in the summer. i might turn to a sulfur burner and jsut rely on that to erradictate that and PM. im sick of the maintenece of keeping them down in a perpetual type of room. hope it wasnt the clones that gave u them.. . n e ways things looking good over there.. and as far as ur timing and #'s, i say hold a few back and flower the rest..but im not much of a planner.

Glad to see your around posting....hope things arent stressin you out too bad. I love that grunk....Solid daily growth.

I don't think the mites were on the clones? Dosen't matter...It was still a big head start to pick those. I really think I got it from the neighboring garden. I went in there and found the infested plant.....I figure that I probally carried them home? The no pest strips seam to have knocked them down...I couldn't find one today.

You might not be a planner but your opinoin is solid.

always good news when mites are gone.. happy to hear that bro..

as far as your choices i say start the perpetual as soon as possible.. this way you dont have to worry about space as much also.. if those 6 plants end up stretching a bunch you know you will have the space... even if you add more later you'll still have space and wont have room issues because the plants going in would be smaller than the original six.. if you add all 15 at once and the stretching is bad you could run into space issues or they could end up trying to fight for light... just my 2 cents

Good morning Sampson...Thanks for your input. Im dying to get some into flower....Im just going to move some over today so the gap isn't so long between harvests. In 8 weeks ill be glad I did so Im not on the street buying shit weed. I swear theres fresh cali mex being sold as chronic right now. You can fool some of the newbs and some of the idiots. I hate when people bring that shit around me asking crazy prices. I tell em...that shit is only 4 or 5 hundred a pound with the out of town price jump.
