Help with setup -items

hey i was wondering if any of the nz in door growers know were to get y spliters and good soil and nutes for a cheap price as i havent been able to find any.:evil::twisted:

home depot- y splitters
and depending on the quality of nutes/ferts u want

u could get crap stuff at wal mart and that.

id suggest a local hydroponic shop... or online

im in new zealand we dont have wal mart thats why i was asking for new zealanders/kiwi's to tel me thanks any wayz :peace:

ooh.. ok.. lol. .thought nz was just some state in the us.... so my opinion is online.. cant go wrong...

Try Newzeland electrical suppliers. I'm not in NZ but I did a quick google search and found that this store is a chain in NZ. You can find alternatives closer to you... search with the + symbol to force the search engine to find results with those keywords; Example: New zeland +electrical +supplies. Simple, good luck!:peace:

Have you checked out Switch On Gardener? they might not be the cheapest for irrigation equipment or things like that but they have everything you need to get setup.

Theres plenty of other places you can source cheap equipment, such as


  • The Warehouse (Kinda like wal mart)
  • Mitre 10
  • PlaceMakers
  • Bunnings
  • Pet Stores (Aquarium Accessories?)
